My dad and I are from Italy, and we’re doing a trip across the USA by motorbike, using the bike, a Ducati ST2 2001 (which has 62.500+ miles on her!!). We started in New York, went down to Orlando, Florida, then to Los Angeles, and we were on our way to Ridgecrest (before hitting Sacramento to then head back to New York) when the bike broke down. It was a Saturday evening, and we were 45 miles South Ridgecrest, in the middle of the desert. The issue were the wheel bearings of the back tire so we could still kinda go, so we insisted (just very slowly) but by doing so we worsened the damage. When we arrived in town, everything was closed and still, everyone told us nobody would touch a Ducati, and that it would’ve been better to go either to Los Angeles or Las Vegas. The thing is, my dad and I are on a really tight schedule. We can’t afford the time to find a truck, put the bike on it, drive to either city, wait for it to be repaired and then go back on the road, it would take too long. And that’s when these guys came in TO SAVE US. Not only they were open on a Sunday, but from the very beginning they told us they could work on our bike, no biggie, and that they were going to be the fastest possible. The only issue we encountered was getting the stuff as quickly as possible, but the guys made sure we got the best delivery times out there. Also, they gave us some extra wheel bearings for the front (just in case). This repair could’ve cost us the whole rest of the trip, but now we’re right back on track only thanks to these guys. No words will ever be able to explain how thankful we are. They...
Read moreMy bike was overheating 195 miles from home with no coolant on a 97° day. After I called a tow truck, I called several shops in Ridgecrest from the side of Highway 395 and they turned me down because they don't support Triumphs, but Austin at Mavs told me to bring it over for immediate attention. He helped bring the bike in off the tow truck, diagnose the problem and set me up with a temporary fix to get me back on the road. Charged me his flat labor rate, gave me a bottle of extra coolant and a funnel in case the fix didn't hold, some cold water for the road and his cell phone number to make sure I got home ok. My faith in humanity has been...
Read moreNothing sucks more than your SxS breaking down in the middle of no where on a Saturday when nothings open, EXCEPT this place! From the moment we dropped it off at this shop, till the day we picked it up was nothing but great! He kept us in the loop with what needed to be done, and he got the work done in a timely manner. Great prices too! Our SxS is back in the dirt and it’s running great. Nothing but great things to say about this place, we will definitely use him for all our SxS needs hands down! Highly...
