Star View ​Drive-In — Local services in Ridgefield Township

I once visited this drive-in 5 or 6 times in the summer MINIMUM. No longer. Charging for outside food and drink (ie tightening the thumb screws) on your customer base = NOT THE ANSWER. We always got food from the snack bar (as well as bringing items they DON'T OFFER) but now they've made it too expensive. Maybe I want Pepsi vs Coke. Maybe I want spring water vs what they have. Maybe I want pop with real sugar vs high fructose corn syrup. If they think this is the answer, well, we'll miss them when they close. Other drive-ins manage to operate without charging for outside food and drink, and they also manage to upgrade their bathrooms from a 1940's trough as well. Women's must be just as bad. It use to be a 5 star to us but after yesterday it's down to a 2 let me explain they raised the price to get in but didn't improve anything it wouldn't be hard to go paint the fence the bathroom stalls don't have doors on them or at the minimum a curtain. The food is ok but not the best but if you want to bring your food in its 10 extra dollars to get in. Now time for the movie it comes on and only a quarter of the screen is full. So you up the price and get less of a screen this is sad when there is a drive in out in tiffin only 30 mins away that just completely rebuilt the concession building and up graded their projectors and they charge less and the quality of food is a lot better. Worst customer/owner experience of my life. We paid $300.00 plus and extra 40.00 for the out side food pass. We didn't hide or attempt to trick the owner at all. We paid to bring per them "outside food in" we ordered pizza and had it delivered and she came running across the parking screaming and cursing that we disrespected them them by not ordering from the concession stand. Why do you offer a food pass yet attack someone who honestly pays for 20.00 per car for the outside food pass that you offer. She acted likes a complete psychopath.
