Fairmount Golf Course — Local services in Riverside

I play this course often because it is near my work, but the consistent price increases have taken it from a nice deal to walk 9 to being seriously overpriced. It now costs $15 to walk 9 (providing your own push cart). That is not a good deal at all for a course of this quality. Sometimes the course is decent to good, but there are plenty of times that there are large dead spots on the fairways. You can often play a nicer 18-hole course with a cart for $30, so anyone who says this place is a nice cheap option is wrong. They will also often come out and pull the flags even though you are still on the course and it is still at least an hour or two before they close. That is infuriating. There's nothing like having a great round and then trying to hit approach shots on the last three holes with no idea where on the greens the holes are. It's a fun course, but they need to lower...

Horrible experience. It was my first time trying out this golf course and fully disappointed. A golf player confronted me first asking why are we playing so slow and then complainted the management about our slow play. The worst part is when I was dropping off the cart the management lady made contact and brought it up to my attention about someone complaining that we were playing slow. Wow lost your customer forsure. Won’t come here again and bringing my family. Don’t waste your money if your trying to play smooth golf. This place seems to be competing with each other and they want you to play fast....

The golf course really isn’t that good and they need to work on customer service. We have came multiple times and asked simple questions like “can we get a tee time” and the employee always laughs at us like we’re dumb and is super rude. Just asking simple normal questions getting treated like we’re idiots. If you don’t have a tee time, that’s okay, just let us know professionally like other courses do!
