I purchased a few larger heads of fresh Romaine lettuce here for under a dollar each, whereas, a few days earlier at a larger market on Arlington & Van Buren, I spent $3 for each head of lettuce, and they were tiny, & didn’t last long in my fridge. This is just one of many reasons why I like coming here.

I notice this place has prices almost as double compare to El Súper. Today just to save gas I made a stop to buy groceries, and to try the pastor from that place. I regret it so bad and should had cancel the purchase when I saw flies inside the meat area but felt bad for the gentleman helping me which he was really nice and helpful. Once I got home about 10 minutes later, I proceed to cook the meat to see if it was decent. Oh boy! Disgusting, tasted and smelled like rotten.
