I like this stater bros and the cashiers and the whole staff are nice but not the greeter there. I'm not sure what his name is but he's old and I strongly believe he is racist. I feel like we really don't need racism anywhere this day and age and it's so in my face. I've gone in there several times and he never says a "Hi" or a "good morning" to me because maybe I'm hispanic but noticed non-colored people walking behind me and he tells the "hi" and "good morning" in such a friendly way. I already have enough stress going on and I don't need anyone discriminating me for my ethnicity or because of the way I look. If he said hi to me of course I would say hi back but because I'm not white I don't get greeted when I walk into this stater bros. I entered at this location at 03/08/2024 at around 8 something in the morning. I hope management either removes him as greeter or retrains him on how to be greeter. It really doesn't take much to be nice to everyone no matter their color or size.
(Edit) 05/01/2024 time 9:15 I just went to this stater bros again and again I had the same experience woth this greeter. The racism is really disgusting. I walk in absolutely not greeted and same goes with other Hispanic people and a white family walks in and he tells them hello. Please hire someone that's nice and not disgustingly racist. I'm appalled no action has been done towards the greeter.
Happened today again. It really hurts my feelings that I just want to shop and the white old guy greeter only likes to greet white people. I go in and only says hi to the white guy behind me. Like I guess as a Hispanic maybe I should spend my money at a Hispanic grocery store where I won't be discriminated. Please fire him or at least suspend him until he knows to greet colored people....
Read moreIâm leaving a one star because of an awful employee that me and my husband happened to come across here. Her name is ALYSHIA I BELEIVE thatâs how you spell it. She was in line to buy a few things after working her shift im asumming ( since she had on her uniform) she rolled her eyes at us and was talking bad about me and my husband to whoever she was on the phone with because we moved up in line and apparently she hadnât paid yet. How were we suppose to know? She was busy on the phone, she looked done. Nonetheless not a big deal right? Wrong, she was extremely rude and unprofessional. High conflict and ready to exchange nasty words with us(customers). How embarrassing, sheâs in uniform acting this way?even our cashier Jacob apologized on her behalf! Iâm sure this isnât the first or second time. Something needs to be done. Maybe she should work away from people!!! I will be calling the store after the general manager comes back from vacation. Staters needs kind individuals in the front of the store while handling people, not someone...
Read moreToday after work, I stopped by to pick up fruit, vegetarian burger patties and some cashews, Pistachios and dried bananas. As I dispensed the cashews, Pistachios and dried bananas while photographing the corresponding item# for each, the stores Security guard positioned himself immediately behind me - as if he was waiting for me to possibly steal food?? As he stood near me, several shoppers became aware of this, watching me as I was the grocery store thief. All of the items that I placed inside of the hand basket were purchased, and my Cashier 'Angie D' even thanked me for going to the trouble of recording all of the food item numbers. There was a California Highway Patrol job fair happening in front of the store, so you would think that had I the inclination of stealing food from dried fruit and nut dispensers that I would have the good judgement to wait until all of this backup law enforcement would return to base for the evening. Store #192 displayed an unwelcoming environment despite having an expansive...
