Mariscos El Camaron Loco #1 — Restaurant in Riverside

My husband, 3 children and I visited this establishment for the first time on 4-15-25 it was between 1:00-2:00pm. The young waitress was awesome very kind and courteous. We ordered 6 asada tacos which they had a deal on for the day 4 tacos Gobernador, and I ordered a mixed ceviche with octopus, shrimp and scallops. The asada tacos had no flavor whatsoever and it was all rough and nerve no real meat, it was not edible. The Gobernador tacos were really good, and very well seasoned. The ceviche I ordered had not even half of a tostada of seafood it was all onion and tomato I tasted the ceviche and it had a good taste so decided just to eat it not a big deal, boy was I wrong. On my second bite I almost broke a molar when I took out whatever I had bitten it looked like raw meat and bone, I put it on a napkin totally in denial that it could be that. The nice waitress stopped to check on us and I gave her what I had found and she returned apologizing because it indeed was raw red meat on bone. She asked if I wanted to return my plate and have it made again but I refused because if that raw meat was already in the ceviche the whole platter in the back was already contaminated. Where do I begin. I came to this place to try the Micheloca and shrimp and octopus cocktail. I should have known as soon as I walked in. The place was hot and and 2 customers inside and the waitress didn’t give good customer service. So I received my order and got rotten pieces of imitation crab in my Micheloca and I let the waitress know and she went to the back to let the cook or owner know about it . No one apologized about the rotten imitation crab. I told her to check to make sure they have their food stored at the appropriate temperature for cold food. Or maybe they just have food sitting out for long periods of time. Anyways I felt disgusting and I did contact the health department. After a long day at work, my wife and I go to enjoy a beer, tacos and a mojara in a late Friday evening. We figured we'd get quick service since we were the only ones there.. Well besides the four guys at the counter with a bucket of beers for each one and their loud Karaoke machine in the back. The service was mediocre. My drinks came out quick as did the tacos, 40 minutes later the fried fish never arrived. We decided to leave and pay for what we received. They didn't want to take my ATM. Most likely because the girl behind the counter wanted to pocket the cash. But hey, If your looking for a bar, this is the spot. If you want some so called "Best Mexican Food in Riverside"?
