I really wanted to like this place after reading reviews. I scheduled a brown lamination and brow tint. The last salon that I had been going to go many years did a horrific job on the tint shade of my last lamination even after I expressly informed the owner/technician that I was going lighter with my hair shade after that appointment and to do a light tint. The owner did the same dark tint as I normally get when I have my dark hair. The tint shade was horrible especially knowing I was going a lot lighter to blonde. I actually had to have my hair stylist bleach the tint and dye it. I decided then to look for another place that would hopefully listen to me and not be a waste of my money.
I had my appointment today at Juliette's Lash Therapy for brow lamination & brow tint. I told the technician that I wanted a lighter tint on the brows since my hair is now shades of blonde with a lighter brown base. When I looked in the mirror after the service I wanted to cry. This technician did not listen to my request either about a light shade. I have horrifically dark brows again with light hair. I did not say anything in the salon as I wanted to drive home and see if my thoughts on the tint shade changed. They didn't change and my frustrations with not being listened to manifested more. I did call the salon to see what options were available to lighten the tint and was informed basically there was nothing other than to start washing my brows with face soap & the color would fade in a few weeks. For an upset customer, this is not a response to give especially knowing that the tint shade is so horrible that I honestly can't go in public looking like this.
Juliette did call shortly after my phone call to the salon to discuss me being unsatisfied and extremely unhappy. She offered to refund my money for the tint - I told her that wasn't necessary just make sure technicians listen to customers in the future. I am wary about using the salon again but will give keep my next appointment for a lash lift next week - hopefully the product outcome will be...
Read moreI've had lashes once before (a few years ago) and they were classic lashes but they were so BOOM in your face that I took them out a few days after they were installed. With two small children now, I am trying to minimize my morning routine but not walk out of the house looking like whodunnit.
After months (and I mean, MONTHS), of google searching a lash tech nearby, I finally found Juliette. I was surprised to find a lash tech in the area, because I assumed everyone was downtown Tampa or further (I drove 90 minutes the first time). I am SO glad I decided to visit Juliette because she is an AMAZING person.
First, her current location is beautiful. It's extremely professional and the building seems regal. I was very impressed visiting her, because I was expecting a slightly upscale version of the eyebrow/lash closet at local nail salons. Needless to say, her studio was a surprisingly beautiful upgrade that I was not expecting.
Juliette is SO down to earth, personable and professional. When speaking with her, it's obvious she is very knowledgeable about her craft and has years experience in doing it. I was also very impressed how she executed exactly what I was asking for with my lash extensions. I wanted to accentuate my actual lashes without them being so "in your face," but also look and feel natural. I told her my initial lash experience, the lashes were heavy and it felt like I was wearing visors on my eyelids.
I was very happy with what she suggested (pictured below), and glad, if anything, that I had a chance to meet her. Her lash extensions were reasonably priced compared to other locations that I'd researched. I've already recommended her to several friends. Read moreI had referred two people to this business and was very supportive of them and their work. They did great work on my eyelashes. The day of my appointment my two year old son was rushed to the emergency hospital he was having seizures. As you can imagine i was overwhelmed and stressed. I called them to tell them i couldn’t make it i even offered to send them over my son’s hospital papers at first they refused to move my deposit to another day or refund it… finally they relented but told me i had to reschedule within a week I told them i was going on a book tour and would be in LA that week and could we move it up by 10 days. They refused and said it was their “policy” They are heartless and truly insensitive. I understand policy but this was a true emergency and i had been supporting their business and offering them referrals. So you rather lose tons of business from a loyal customer over an $80 deposit that you feel good about pocketing from a stressed out mom who put her son’s welfare over eyelashes???
