Where to begin. We had an incredible experience with John Lowe. My husband and I were married this past weekend and the entire team was SO attentive and proactive when it came to our catering and dining experience. My husband and I both come from Jewish families and I was initially really anxious and concerned about finding vendors who would be able to accommodate our guests and their expectations. John Lowe and the team EXCEEDED our expectations with their attention to detail, food requests, assisting us in finding a few glatt kosher meals and a few surprises for my husband and a few couples who were celebrating anniversaries and recent nuptials. Everyone was raving about our food and we also LOVED everything. I have to give a special shout out to the server they had working with us - she was SO respectful, kind, and attentive. I was not sure how closely I wanted to be followed around during my wedding and she was incredibly respectful but when she saw my husband and I were not getting enough food during cocktail hour, swooped in (with a second server!) to make sure we actually got to enjoy the food and drinks on our day. Catering by John Lowe was absolutely amazing and THE best choice for our wedding (and yours)! From the very beginning at our tasting, we were extremely impressed and so excited to have John Lowe at our wedding. The food was AMAZING! The team was so friendly and worked with us to create the perfect menu for our wedding, even including custom requests. Our favorite part was that they went above and beyond to ensure my husband and I got to taste all the delicious food we had chosen. We had our own server for the day and right after the ceremony, we got to try our amazing appetizers with a special tray just for us. They also ensured we got some of everything on our plate for dinner and it gave us the opportunity to make sure we actually ate our meal on such a crazy day. Our guests raved about how delicious everything was, and the late night wanderer station was a HUGE hit! To top it all off, they sent us home with leftovers that we got to enjoy the next day. John Lowe also offers a unique family style serving option that is the perfect balance between a buffet and served dinner. The first thing Mr John said to us when we met for our tasting was “ are yall hungry? Because I’m going to feed yall so get ready” fed we were.

We had the pleasure of having Catering by John Lowe for our wedding, and overall, the experience was fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious! I was initially a bit nervous about whether it would satisfy our Caribbean and Latin guests, but everyone raved about how flavorful and well-seasoned everything was. The family-style dinner setup at our reception worked beautifully, and the bartenders and kitchen team were amazing throughout the night.

The only hiccup we encountered was with the service at a couple of tables, especially Table 11. Some guests felt that the servers were rushing to clear plates—even while they were still eating. One guest came back from the restroom to find her plate had already been taken, and others mentioned they felt the need to “guard” their meals. A few even asked if the reception was ending early because of how quickly things were being cleared.

That said, the food and bar service were incredible and left a lasting impression on all of our guests. With just a bit more attentiveness to pacing the clearing of tables, it would have been a flawless experience. We truly appreciate the team’s hard work and...
