It has been an absolute pleasure to be part of the FPL family. We've boarded our Frenchie, Oscar, countless times over the past few years. Oscar is well natured, but was born deaf and thus has special needs. He responds only to hand signals and can be reactive if approached from behind - he is by no means a normal, nor easy dog to board.
I noticed an exceptional level of attention and care put into each of Oscar's stays. The professionals at FPL were cognizant of Oscar's preferences, and experimented to see what made him most comfortable. For example, they recognized that Oscar had been crate trained and suggested I start bringing his crate for him to sleep in at night.
There is clearly a lot of quality time spent with your dog. When I would come to pick Oscar up, they'd excitedly demonstrate a new hand signal or trick they'd been working on with him. Oscar would always excitedly run inside when I dropped him off at FPL.
I especially appreciated how they frequently post pictures of the FPL pets on their social media pages highlighting their stays. It was comforting to see what Oscar was getting up to, and I could tell he was having fun.
FPL has all of the hallmarks of a trustworthy, well-run, and honest business. The facilities were always clean, and I noticed low employee turnover. A special shout out to Nicole for making FPL...
Read moreWhat they don't show in their photos online is the unsafe conditions for the dogs. We stopped bringing our dog here years ago after seeing photos they posted on social media of dogs on rusty metal shelving units. I do not know if they still have these shelves there - I don't really care. These shelves were not on display when we toured the property years ago and were making decisions on a boarding facility. What else are they not showing in their staged photos to get people to use their facility?
Edited in response to the owner: Our dog stayed here 2 or 3 instances. It was concerning seeing these photos shortly after her last and final stay in July of 2022, given the state of rust on the shelves. Why were they permitted to be so rusty before you removed them for safety reasons? I do not understand why the shelves were in an area for the dogs to lay and climb on when they are for storage. My husband and I stand by our decision to not continue...
Read moreI love Friendly Paws LITTLES!!! So does Penny, my dog! Penny has been going here for five years now. She loves the staff and her little furry besties!! She loves daycare & so do I. Convenient hours during the week and weekend. Boarding- I have no worries when I board her. They take great care of Penny. She got sick one time during boarding. The staff kept an eye on her & gave me regular updates. Penny ended up having a little reaction to a booster I got her before her boarding or she ate something that didn’t agree with her prior to me boarding her as per my vet. I had a friend pick her up from Friendly Paws LITTLES & take her to vet(Penny was back to her old self that morning). I never have or have to be concerned when I board or put her in daycare. They take great care of Penny and all the other dogs. Highly recommend Friendly...
