Kitchen Saver — Local services in Robinson Township

It's hard to review this because of the experience that we had. In the beginning we felt very pressured to complete the decision and sign the quote, it was a matter of hours while the sales person was expressing he needed signatures to give us "the great deal." We had to chose a door, I felt pressured and expressed that I wasn't sure about my decision on what door I chose. He assured me that I could change my mind, it was May, our installation wouldn't be until September so I had plenty of time if I wanted to change. I changed my mind in the beginning of June. I asked the sales rep to text me photos of the doors in the beginning of June and he did. I changed my door, I texted him back that I wanted a different door. Once they gave me a follow up call, I mentioned to them that I hadn't received a change order for my door. She said she'd check into it. Then they called me and said it was too late to change my door style because my doors were already in production. No, I specifically changed my door and from my knowledge definitely in ample time. There were a lot of back and forth discussions and basically they said they would either credit me $1,000 if I stayed with my original door choice or I had to pay an additional $1,000 if I wanted to change it. This was NOT my error, it was an error in regard to THEIR COMMUNICATION between their staff and I had all of my text messages to show that I changed my choice in a timely manner. That meant nothing to their manager and he fought me hard that if I wanted to change it, I had to pay an additional $1,000. So I DID against my better judgement. I'm already paying $18,000 and you want to squeeze another $1,000 out of me because YOUR STAFF was lax in updating my information. I paid it but was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED that they unjustly charged me due to their discrepancy not mine.

Now as far as the work they did, we were highly satisfied with the workmanship that was done. Radu did our work, only one person and he did a wonderful job. Everything was perfect. He did the work in 3 days and we were told it would take 5 days. Radu was very professional and his workmanship was a 10! We are very pleased with our new kitchen cabinets but very disappointed that a big company like them squeezed another $1,000 out of us after paying $18,000 which was THEIR faux...

Stay away! After a painstaking process to even schedule an in-home consultation, I finally had a representative come to take a look at my kitchen cabinet refacing. Nico arrived almost 15 minutes late, never called. He was professional every step of the way, but unfortunately for him, he had to follow some very shady business practices. First of all, he told me that if I reconfigured some doors and drawers, I would save a few bucks. OK, whatever. He kept “forgetting” what I wanted done and trying to sell me other upgrades to my kitchen, even though I was very clear in explaining exactly what I wanted done. Then, the big one. Nico figured out the price. It was higher than I expected, and I guess I looked surprised. Nico told me he could take off 10%, but only if I said Yes right now. (I thought only used car salespeople did this.) It was all downhill after that, as I explained to Nico that I had no intention of paying more after thinking about his offer for a few days. He wrapped things up and told me he would send a PDF file of my estimate. Well, it’s been 3 days and I never got the estimate. It’s OK, though - I saved over 35% by going with someone else. Kitchen Saver really needs to take a look at their sales practices.

We choices kitchensaver because our 1970’s cabinets were very outdated and original to the house. However, even though the cabinets were over 60 years old, they were still in very good condition. To us, it did not make sense to replace the cabinets with the affordable cabinets from a DIY store that would not be of the same quality and then also need to remove and replace. We were not charging the foot print of the kitchen so we started researching and found kitchen saver. We also did not have the budget to do a full remodel. We have had past experience with bathfitters and we were very pleased with the quality of the product and the results were amazing. Choosing to use cabinet saver was an easy choice for us to make. The representative, Nico, who came to our house was knowledgeable and patient. He offered suggestions on things we did not even think of. Having had the experience with a similar company, we know we are going to get quality work. We have had some awful experiences with some contractors we have used in the past so it only made sense to us to go with kitchen saver since we know we will be happy with the end result and it will not take a long period of time for us to have a brand...
