I joined Red Lotus Yoga a couple months ago, and couldn't be happier about it. NEWBIES: This review is for you! I'm brand new to yoga; highly inflexible (I cannot touch my toes!); and have no background in physical fitness. From the moment I walked in the door, I felt at beautiful peace. Literally, from the moment I walked in! The front-desk staff is kind, and the atmosphere is orderly, clean, and tranquil. I've now gone to several "Basic" classes, a couple Slow Flow classes, and a yin class. I have felt cozy and, yes, a bit lost â but happily challenged in all of them. I wanted to try out a variety of teachers, and they've all had something different to offer â though I've found that EACH of them is super kind and encouraging. I have really been enjoying the yoga philosophy, as well. And one last statement: After 10+ years of trying a handful of yoga classes at a variety of studios, never once did I find one that I felt truly comfortable at. In fact, I never returned to one. Many studios tout themselves as "inclusive for everyone" and "welcoming to beginners," but I didn't find that to be true. I never thought I'd find one I actually felt at "home" at.    Read moreI have had the honor of training under Brian for my RYT 200 certification, and I can truly say he is an exceptional teacher and an even more incredible human being. His depth of knowledge, passion for yoga, and ability to hold space for his students create an environment that is both inspiring and supportive.
Every class with Brian is a journeyânot just through the physical practice, but into the deeper philosophy and wisdom of yoga. His guidance is clear, intentional, and infused with authenticity. He encourages growth, both on and off the mat, always meeting his students where they are while gently challenging them to expand their practice.
I attended his class yesterday, and once again, I was reminded of why I feel so grateful to be learning from him. His energy is grounding, his adjustments are thoughtful, and his teaching style seamlessly blends strength, breath, and mindfulness. Brian embodies the true essence of yoga, and I canât recommend his classes and training enough.
If youâre looking for a teacher who is knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly dedicated to the practice, Brian is the one. I feel incredibly lucky to be...

I canât say enough good things about Red Lotus Yoga in Rochester Hills. They offer classes for all skill levels, and the staff is truly exceptionalâknowledgeable, kind, and incredibly welcoming.
I recently found out I have severe stenosis in my neck, which has been causing a lot of nerve pain. I reached out to Red Lotus to find out which class might be the best fit for my condition, and Brian was incredibly helpful. He took the time to understand my needs and guided me toward the right class.
To my surprise, within 24 hours of attending, I noticed a bit of relief from the nerve pain I had been struggling with. That kind of immediate progress gave me a lot of hope. The environment at Red Lotus is calming and supportive, and I genuinely look forward to going back.
If youâre dealing with any physical limitations or just looking for a great yoga community, I highly recommend giving Red...
