They have a excellent selection of instruments,various kinds from guitars like ones I've bought from them,they also have great selection of different varieties-of-guitars styles including seven string n eight string last time I was in just recently,I appreciate since I am a musician the kind of sheer help/supportive musical retail sales associate help I get when I need something,they are also beyond guitars as the only selection they carry,they carry Bass guitars, acoustics guitars I believe they do carry acoustic electric as well guitars and decent selection,other areas of store r huge wall line of floor amps AND areas like music books of composed music books for area of store of music I haven't looked thru yet fully, percussion instruments like drums, 🎹 piano keyboards,microphone accessories n stands various types for different things,I'm currently still exploring store fully,I know they for fact carry violin and other various musical instruments other than guitars and amps,check out the pedal section for guitars,I'm satisfied when I go to there location and need guitar stuff I find anything including the right strings to pedals to anything guitars,since I'm a experienced former bands professional player I can say they have great sales associate customer service,there happy even if they don't carry what I need in stock to help order one,I plan to order guitars n full stack n amp head soon here,there great service and it's appreciated 👍😊😊😊👍👍. I have been bringing in all manner of “ orphaned and “ donated” instruments to the Music Mart for repair and ongoing maintenance for as long as they have been in existence.( And let me say, that some of those “orphans” presented real challenges to the repair/refurbishing staff!!) Each and every one of them has been returned to me completely ready to issue to another aspiring musician!!

I have consistently found this establishment to be customer oriented, helpful in anyway I had need, and professional in the work they have done on everything I dragged in! [This would include: autoharps; brass & wind instruments; & all manner of stringed instruments. (Pssst!-They have yet to see the antique bass drum which will be coming their way in the near future….. but I am confident that it, too will be back in service by the time they have completed its refurbishing!!😇)].

In my opinion, they have consistently asked a fair wage for the services they provided me thru the years.

It goes without saying, that I will continue doing business with this company as long as I have instruments to rescue and maintain!

I had an old acoustic guitar that I had neglected by allowing it to become so dry that the soundboard developed a crack and the bridge started pulling away at the base. I brought the guitar in and was greeted by Joshua the guitar technician here, and he diagnosed the problem and said he thought that he could salvage the guitar. I waited about three weeks for him to get some moisture into the guitar and do the repairs.

I now have my beautiful guitar back after nearly 10 years of it falling into disrepair and it’s working beautifully for me.

I love playing it again.

I would highly recommend using this store if you need some guitar repair in the Rochester area.
