TOTAL DISRESPECT; DON'T CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS, I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!$! VERY IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ BOTTOM!$! Angie was Really Pleasant to Work with; it was a Great Atmosphere there, I was well Pleased with the Service I Received... I have been to the Store 5 Times Now; have had a Pleasant Experience Every Single Time, if Angie, or Anyone Else is Rude to you it has to be your Fault... I have been Treated with the Utmost Respect Every Visit; which is Very Refreshing, cause Usually Most of them Judge me Based on my Appearance because I am a Pirate... Never have they Treated me like I wasn't Important; I have Always felt Welcome, this is a Very Professional, and Down to Earth Atmosphere... Will Definitely be coming Back; have Only been Able to Pawn it get Stuff Back So Far, but I Plan on Jumping on some of the Great Deals I've seen in there too... So if you want a Place to go that will Treat you with Respect; Give you a Fair Price for your Items, go Visit the Pawn King in Rock Island!$! Ever Since Angie Left; the Pawn King has Went Downhill Fast, and Today I was Treated like I have been at Every Pawn Shop I've Ever been to!$! I was Disrespected; so I made a Comment to my Friend that was with me about how Bad it Sucks that I am going to be Struggling this Month, and I Mentioned the Place wasn't the Same without Angie there!$! I was then Refused Service for Defending the Honour of the Best Pawn Broker/Manager They Ever had; if They can't Handle the Truth, Maybe They Should Try to be More like Angie!$! I'm Only giving Them 2 Stars because of the Interaction I had with Jon!$! If He's there; You can Expect a Good Experience, he's Trying to Continue the Great Legacy of Angie!$! If Anyone Else is there; it may be a Good Idea to come back at a Later Date if Possible, They're Lucky to Even get 2 Stars Out of Me After that Disrespect Towards Me, and Angie!$! If They Lose Something of Yours; Expect to get Store Credit Only, They don't Care about Your Items!$! I Called to Ask if They Knew Anything about an Unresolved Issue; the Manager Rudely Said They Do not, and I have to Wait for Corporate to Call Me!$! There was No Respect in His Voice, and I was a Loyal Customer, but I'm Not Going to be a Loyal Customer When I'm Disrespected for just Asking a Question!$! I Also Asked if They take Coins, and All He Said was "Nope, Sure Don't!$!" With a Condescending Tone, and I didn't Appreciate it!$! If I could give a negative star rating I definitely would!!! walking into this store was disgusting and disappointing as I browsed their shelves nothing was clean or maintained properly for sale! Maybe the firearms, and jewelry. Computers were disgustingly presented, these employees could care less about DOING THEIR JOB! I also noticed in the air conditioners that they were selling were still full of dirt, dust and grime. Why would anyone consider buying them. I ended up buying a pocket knife that still had some caked on food or who knows what was on it, that kind of work ethic makes me vomit! My next stop was pawn central as it’s right next door…. They were kind enough to place it in the ultra sonic cleaner and disinfected it no questions asked. I will not come back to Pawn King if my life depended on it!Not to mention that I had multiple computer parts that I didn’t have a use for the women at the. Counter didn’t even look at them before glaring at her coworker that they would be interested! Especially without a receipt…lmao!Pawn Central took their time evaluating my items and bought them for $200. Considering that I used to work for this company about five years ago it was a disgrace to even mentioned that I had ever been employed there.DONT WASTE...

First impression of the manager was that she is a bit rough around the edges then I spent a little time browsing and realized she is blatantly mean! Not just to me was she mean but she wasn't nice to any of the customer's she "helped" and it was no wonder why employees were reluctant to say much, clearly they were inferior to her and she has made it known at one point or another.
