Westside Park — Local services in Rock Rapids

This has been the best campground I've stayed at.

Both stores in rock rapids cost the same. Island park is amazing and next to the creek. If I was going to stay in my camper I would have chosen that site.

I'm a construction worker So I just have time to sleep and shower. So I choose Westside.

It's right offf the road. It's Not a busy park, very quite most of the time.

In a week there were 2 events, a volley ball practice and a church ceremony motorcycle run.

Other than that, it was me and one other worker all week in August.

There are 8 sites I believe (I didn't count, so trust the numbers on the web page.

All sites are drive through and have electricity. No water connections or sewer. But they have a well with a pump by the restrooms.

2 bathrooms, 1 with a shower.

VERY CLEAN. HOT water. Private, and a warning light.

Shower and toilet and sink in one room. Floor matts are a sanitary touch in the shower area.

For $105 a week, 15 a night, it's the best price around.

Great shower room. Clean and plenty of hot water.

Sites have power only, but there is a faucet near bathrooms where you can get water. I fill my jugs there for use in the camper.

VERY CLEAN

Dumpster for trash is covered.

Nice playground That's not busy at all.

Also a sand volleyball court

$15 a night/$105 a week. Most affordable campground I found in the area

I stayed a couple months and Loved it. This site isn't as busy as the island site Which is next to the creek. Perfect for workers traveling . All sites are pull through So easy to get your campers In and out

The town of Rock Rapids Has all the shopping You could possibly want or need. There's a nice bar and grill And a great drive-thru hamburger place with shakes. A pizza buffet and large grocery store. Ace Hardware and Auto Parts And of course a dollar store
