Entrance mismarked in Google Maps!!

The Google maps app will take you down a private driveway for a little neighborhood adjacent to the park.

The correct entrance is about half a mile further south on Mulford. It is easy to miss on the busy street! But there is a small Parks District sign (see photos).

🍂I’ve lived in Rockford for 20 years and actually lived within walking distance for over 10 and never went to this wonderful hidden gem until October of 2025! This place is beautiful in the fall, very peaceful and quiet. It’s a great place to take family photos.

⚠️Beware of the entrance/exit as it only accommodates one vehicle at a time down the drive path and it can also be dangerous turning off and on...

This is a very small park. There is not much to it There is no pavilion. No picnic tables.there is no play area. There is one trail that leads to a neighborhood. It was pretty. It seems that it is not visited often. So it might be a nice place to go if you need some solitude. You have to pay close attention to the entrance because it is not clearly marked.
