Southwest Texas Communications — Local services in Rocksprings

Terrible internet. I have service in the city of campwood and the service is sub standard at best. I have only have the service for 2 months and have already had to down grade because the highest speed was not working. My service is constantly lagging and cutting out. I have called at least 10 times to complain and have the service provided that I am paying for. I have been told that a supervisor will contact me but no one ever does. When the service was connected the technician told me that they cannot push the signal to the street I live on but they sell me the product anyway. The tech said a new cable would have to be run because there is to much feedback in the existing cable smfh it.interferes with the singles. As of today I am having my Internet cut in and out. It is really frustrating and poor service from this company. Two thumbs down for sure and the company should be ashamed for knowing what the problem is but not installing the proper infrastructure to support the service required by it's customers. Definitely not worth the money but not sure if there is any other...

I have had horrible internet for the entire time I've had swtx. Then, my internet stopped working completely for 2 months and I was charged for a technician to come out to fix it. It was a problem on THEIR end, yet I was still charged. Other internet providers do not charge to fix their own problem, AND they reimburse for time it wasn't working. I do NOT suggest getting SWTX. I would give this company zero stars if I could. They charge way too much and the internet runs at a snails pace! Unfortunately there is no other internet provider in the area. Their customer service is terrible. They don’t have that problem in Frio...
