Western Hill Country Realty — Local services in Rocksprings

If I could give it negative stars, I would! I'm shocked that this business has received so many stellar reviews. Glynn was SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL. We made it super easy for him to contact us because we were always accessible. We got all our documents signed and squared away way before closing, we had a great buyer agent that was always on ball, all dockets were already at the bank, but this man was the worst communicator. Our buying agent is a gem and is super personable, but I'm sure Glynn just looked down on her. What a character. He is the most inaccessible man I had ever had to do business with. He would NEVER pick up for our agent and only sent our agent to voicemail. His office was no better BUT he would pick up for the title company. I can't believe we had to use the title company as a middle man to answer our questions! He had absolutely no interest in us as buyers because in the end he would still get his commission from the sale.

Let me list the ways this man has been the worst realtor I've ever had experienced.

1. WISHY-WASHY. He had canceled on us many times when we requested showings for land out in Rocksprings. We still went through with our sale but not without a lot of teeth pulling. All of his fickle behavior almost forced us to default on our contract. We almost missed closing within our time frames because he couldn't get his stuff together.
2. SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL. I'm shocked that he has his own realtor office because he was so capricious! We asked about a generator that was listed as an item included for the property and he responds that he wasn't sure what was on the listing. Like come on, how do you not know what is on your listing...? We showed up to the title company early, signed and closed, and still didn't have the keys to the property. He outright ignored our realtor when we requested the combinations for locks for the gate and property. He knew we were signing since the title company informed us the sellers signed and FedEx'd their documents.
3. UNTIMELY. Glynn rescheduled three times in a span of 20 minutes before we could get our walk through scheduled out. When our realtor asked if he was sure if he could make it, he said he still wasn't sure if he could. It was finally scheduled and this guy arrives an hour late! No warning and when he arrived he didn't apologize for being late which is unprofessional.

TL;DR use another agent. Any agent, but not this agent. You'll save yourself from being frustrated and anxious. Save yourself the trouble and don't use this realtor as it wouldn't be worth...

I had a very positive experience dealing with Western Hill Country Realty. Glynn represented the seller. Although I was the buyer, Glynn did everything he could to help my wife and I in the process, no pressure, no questions asked, no strings attached. He took a full day to show us various properties. Glynn most definitely knows the Rocksprings TX market. After we agreed on the deal, the good service continued. Glynn and John went out of their way to facilitate our decision making and overall experience. Highly recommend Western Hill...

The most unprofessional listing agent I've ever dealt with. When I attempted to make an offer the broker started arguing with me about price. I didn't even get a chance to make the offer. He told me that I didn't know what I was doing because I wasn't from the area. After I told him I was going with a different realtor, he sent me a text text stating that by law he had to put the offer in. I obviously declined. I. hope his client is able to sell their property because I moved on after dealing...
