Honey Locust Farms is a very unique and beautiful venue, especially for a smaller wedding. However, our experience during the visit left a lot to be desired. We were genuinely interested in booking the space for our wedding day, but the attitude of the younger woman showing us around ultimately turned us away.
There was no warm welcome or enthusiasm when we arrived, and the overall tone of the walkthrough felt indifferent and unengaged. When we asked about possibly visiting again later in the evening to see how the space looks after darkāsomething important to us given our interest in an evening weddingāwe were told no, since they close at 4 p.m. This struck us as odd, especially considering she mentioned her family owns the property. If accommodating a potential client after hours could result in a $5,000 booking, it seems like a worthwhile effort.
The overall vibe was very much āyou get what you get,ā with little flexibility or willingness to work with us. While the venue itself is lovely, our customer service experience was disappointing enough that we decided to...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was my first time of going into this place and I can say the first impression wasnāt great. My sister was excited to show me this coffee shop and I looked forward to going with her. At the time she was telling me about her submitting a job application and having high hopes of getting a potential job here. When I first walked in we were greeted by no one. The area was empty of people and I felt uncomfortable as if I was intruding. It took some time to be waited upon but eventually someone came out. Not much conversation took place and even still we did not feel welcomed. When my sister mentioned of applying for a job to the barista she offhandedly made a remark of a pile of applications that have been sitting for awhile. My sister was a bit crestfallen. We genuinely wanted to have a good experience at a place so beautiful. In the end we decided not to stay long. My constructive criticism is this, I believe you would be more successful as a business if you were customer...
