Lakeshore Assisted Living and Memory Care — Local services in Rockwall

I left a Skilled Nursing Facility because I didn't require as much care as a SNF offered, but renting an apartment wasn't quite enough. Assisted Living offered the independence I wanted and the help I needed, so this was a perfect fit for my life. I can come and go as I want, but get the care I need. Three meals/day and snacks are provided. The home provides management of my medicine. I can choose whether or not they launder my clothes, and how frequently they clean my abode (trash collection is done daily). Lakeshore Living offers just the right balance in my life. There are weekly trips to go shopping as well as attendance at special events throughout the year. An on-site theater, on-site salon, free Wi-Fi and cable TV are just some of the amenities offered here. I couldn't have chosen a better arrangement! I know they recently had a change in ownership and have now undergone a name change and updated decor. Everyone I've met here, from the office employees to the caregivers, have shown genuine concern in making me comfortable in my new home. I was able to send some pretty amazing families to live here at this Arbor House Rockwall location and to my delight, the families are still here and very happy. I feel really good about referring people to live a better life here and am so proud of the Executive Director and the caring staff she hires to care for our loved ones there. Its so exciting to know that there are such wonderful and special people working in such a beautiful environment for our aging population. Great work Rockwall...

I cannot stress how much I love Arbor House of Rockwall. I have worked for and have had family that's lived in other communities like this but none of them have ever felt like home.
