The Park at Foxchase — Attraction in Rockwall

What a beautiful Park! But very poor planning! This park has everything you need; playground, Pavilion with grills, Splash Pad, fishing, very quiet neighborhood. The only problem is there are no restrooms, no seating other than in the pavilion and you have to walk a LONG way, from the only parking lot, to get to the playground area. (Photo) Not very helpful if you have small children or a cooler. I can see why there wasn't anyone at the park on such a beautiful day. This place was so beautiful and peaceful. Smaller but just the right size for this area. There were ducks around, beautiful trees, a lovely playground that actually was clean, clean benches, and this was surrounded by beautiful homes. I literally sat at a bench directly in front of the picture attached and just thought about life and people watched. It wasn't crowed and also had a splash pad and small walking trail circling the exterior...

The playground is outdated and really meant for older kids. Who has a metal slide at playground any more?!! Ouch in the hot sun! The splash pad is great, I wish there was benched around the splash pad. Sometimes there is quite a bit of trash out. The pond is nice perfect for spotting turtles sunning or ducks. You can catch & release fish there. No bathrooms and parking is far from park when herding 2 little children and all...
