S & S Sport Shop — Local services in Rockwood

My husband, a friend of ours, and myself were treated very ignorantly. We had done a transfer there and the guy at the front desk was super nice.. We had parked behind the building and walked up the hill while we did our business and had went back to our vehicles. We had had a few questions for our friend so we were chatting with them for MAYBE 5 minutes. Then a older man walks out from the back of the shop walking something over to dump over the bank. As he was walking back to the building, he shouted over at us "This is a parking spot for customers, not a space for gatherings." We were so appalled and confused because we had just been in the store doing a purchase so we were customers. We had told him this and he continued to yell and shout about it not being a gathering place, it's for customers. We were completely uncomfortable and felt totally mistreated. I feel that was uncalled for that is why I am leaving this review. You shouldn't treat your customers like that. All three of us don't don't feel comfortable going back there, so we will most likely be doing business elsewhere from now on. I do want to add again, that the man who did the check out was super nice and very helpful. The reason for this one star review is the nastiness of the man who was ignorant to his customers. Our friend said they belive this man was the owner or the father of the owner. Why would you treat your customers...

Very unprofessional. And rude. Got gas on the convenience side, and the man working register couldn't even say one word. Not even a thank you.. Only reason their Gas is .25 cheaper is because it's the only way they can keep their doors open. Otherwise Rock City Express would put them under. This isn't the first time I have had a bad experience with the same individual. I'm usually all for supporting family owned business. But I will NEVER GIVE THIS PLACE A DIME AGAIN. Take 5 extra minutes to go through town to Rock City Express, and patronize a Store that appreciates...

The business is empty and never has more than 1 vehicle there for a reason. Cheap gas is the only upside. Listed as an FFL and had a rifle delivered despite a few warnings from locals about it.

Gotten a rifle there before with no issue. Dude refused to transfer this time because i didnt call ahead and ask. Do yourself a favor, go up the road to Hoovers or a few miles to M&T arms and avoid this...
