First of all, props to Miss Taletha, the lady that helped us during our visit. She was friendly, helpful and professional as was the young man who was also working on 2.16.18. There are a few shopping carts as soon as you walk in, if you need something to put all your treasures in and a couple of chairs near the register for a weary or bored spouse to sit in while they wait for their other half. As in other shops, there are many locked glass cases that the staff is quick to unlock or in my case, Miss Taletha had to squeeze in behind a bookcase and reach deep into a china cabinet to retrieve my find. There are several dozen vendors in there, some of the booths are beautiful displayed, some are just thrown in there helter skelter. Are there any antiques in there? A few, but keeping in mind that an antique is anything over 100 years old, there might have been only a couple of things that qualified. Otherwise, everything was vintage or reproductions. The aisles are wide enough for a wheelchair and many of the booths have sales. Most of the prices seem very reasonable and my find was an additional 25% off!! Woo hoo! They take cc and cash, lots of parking. Definitely an...
Read moreAgain, it's an OK antique mall, only nothing for me in my treasure hunting here. That's why I take pictures, if you all are into Country and old time antiques this place is for you. One of the vendors was really friendly talking to me about Skippy in his stroller. What I find annoying, maybe it's me, is when the employee really would rather be on her phone instead of checking to see if people have something she could bring to the front for them. That's how I am when I work at Lighthouse Antique Mall, where I have a booth and 2 cases. Just a thought for employees. Really didn't miss out on anything as once again more country, primitives, coins, kitchenware, games, boy toys. See pictures to help you decide, as my wheelhouse is different treasures. My only comment is how were they voted #1, when in my books Piney River offers a lot more diversity in their booths, just me thinking our loud. Yes, their bigger than Piney River only I found 3 treasures at Piney River just saying. Everyone has different tastes. You need different inventory to cater to different customers in antiques, especially off...
Read moreSuch a great antique mall! Everyone is extremely friendly and kind. Often asking if they can take your items for you so you can keep shopping without having to carry so much. We’ve been to this mall over 10 times and am finally writing a review. This is a great place to go to kill some time and to do some fun shopping. I’ve never left without finding something to buy. They have stairs and a ramp to get to the top floor. If you have kids, you have to upstairs, there’s a ton of great little stores with toys and board games. I highly recommend this place to anyone passing through or local. We’ll be coming back again and again. There’s two handicap parking spaces right by...
