EDIT* Dispute their response below, I was never informed of all the fees until after they charged me over the phone. Then they sent me documents agreeing to the extra charges. I didn't not sign the protection fee agreement but they charged it anyway. Shady Contacted them to rent a 10*15. They promised it for$80, first month free, but there would be a move in fee of $75. So really they are just knocking $5 off the month. I agreed, they sent the contract, I signed the first two documents, then they had a mandatory "unit protection fee" of $23/ month. By the time they were done stacking other mandatory fees, the unit would be$135/month. That's$55 more than what they promised me when they took my move-in fee. This is how con men work.

Bad business practices are indicators of dishonesty. I'm not sure I would want to store my stuff in a storage unit operated by shady...

If you want clean and secure, this place fits the bill..... BUT they are more expensive than anyone locally, They add on random fee's they cant explain, they FORCE you to have insurance on the unit, and that's just when you sign up, I had a 10x20 here for over a year, when I moved in (under previous ownership) it was $112 monthly, when I moved out it was OVER $185 PER MONTH. Don't be swayed by the fresh paint and big gates, this place lets you move in for 50% off or whatever but trust me once you have your stuff in there, better prepare for a...

Being a first time storage unit renter, I had a few issues but spoke with a manager about my concerns. He was very nice and polite and helped me with my concerns. I was unable to use the unit after all and he was very understanding about a few issues I had had. It's a very safe location, very clean, easy to get too, and he helped me so much to get all resolved. Very good communication and they are working on a few minor things but I would recommend.
