Proctorville FoodFair — Local services in Rome Township

The store was clean, it's convenient and wasn't real busy. I spent way more than I thought I was going to be spending 😞. A box of 20 count chips was $21.something and the shrimp I thought was $9.99 from the shelf price ended up being $29.99, I was thinking afterwards how could I have spent that much I had to look at my receipt when I got home. I like having food fair stores to go in cause sometimes you find different things but my gosh prices are so high, I know they are every where but prices were high on everything. I just ran in there to get milk and look for a ice cream cake which they do not even have so if you need a ice cream cake go to Kroger, Walmart or dairy Queen. My grandson was with me and wanted the cereal, shrimp, lunch cakes ect. And if wouldn't have been in a hurry I woulda left and went to Kroger when I seen they didn't have the ice cream cakes. I really feel like I could have spent less at Kroger or even Walmart. I rarely shop at the other food fair because the prices are usually higher then other stores and this food fair was convenient and fast to just run into real quick is why...

I’m usually not one to write reviews but I came back home for a visit and decided to see what this store had. The store was in great shape but when I went to checkout, I saw there were no self checkouts. As much as I loved this, my cashier was extremely rude, she was an older lady with long red hair, she dismissed most of my questions and anytime I tried to talk to her she seemed uninterested, I then got her to talk but she talked to me about one of the other workers I guess? Saying they never do their job and she wishes she could fire them herself. He seemed like he was a fine worker, I saw him roam around throughout the store fixing the shelves so I’m not sure what she was talking about. I love this store I shop here 3 to 4 times a week but my big complaint is that noone in that store wears mask..I don't understand why when evryone in the deli wears mask and gloves ..and are doin there best to do a safe service to our public that the whole store doesn't comply as well..I think the whole other part of the store can learn by their example...I mean they all handle food and deal with customers the same as that dept iv been a resident of this town for many years I personally know most of the people that work there I know they aren't vaccinated i would like to see that things would change with that to make it a safer shopping...
