Ecorse Market — Local services in Romulus

I just moved around here and I started going to this market/ gas station I never have anything bad to say except today. This morning I went to get my sick husband some over the counter medicine and some cough drops. When I got to the store I couldn't find the cough drops so I asked the workers and they were so very kind and kindly told me where they were, they said we had some on the bottom near the counter and some behind me. So I proceeded to get the ones behind me because I left my eye glasses in the car I was not going to stand there and hold up the line while I looked for them. I was looking for the flavor my husband would like and I found the honey flavor but the whole box of the honey flavor was unopened on the shelf the plastic cover was still sealed so I went to take the plastic off so I could get a couple packs.Oh my goodness the second oldest gentleman I think he is the manger or owner he was so upset with me and the way he reacted like I was going to steal them or something, mind you the two nice workers are the ones who said I could get them from that shelf too. He was so upset with me that he even told me to take the box to him as if I was going to steal them or something, that was just uncalled for . You don't talk to customers like that!I know it's a Sunday morning but it's not my fault that he has to be there. SUPER OVER PRICED! , honestly one of the most over priced places around there are 2 factories around ford, and gm and stevens trash this place takes advantage of the higher paid workers and this being one of the only local open places around at night, they know what they are doing and it's pretty messed up shame shame, the workers try to get what they can from other places before they all close, this is a last resort for them, the owners try to blame the distribution centers for their prices when all other local places have the same product cheaper! The owners are pure hustlers! They have a chicken and pizza place inside that has the most expensive food around and it's nasty 80% of the time do...
