Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Romulus

I’m a little confused because it appears that the owners of this location deleted their last Google review page and just opened this one this week. Somehow they have more 5 star reviews in a week than their last page got in years. I believe they’re having family and friends post them. There’s even an account named “Tim Hortons” that left a 5 star review…?

My experience here completely depends on who is working. If it’s one of the ladies, I get great service. They are so kind to me and my dogs that I bring for pup cups.

I spoke with the owner a few months ago because I got to work and noticed my whole order was wrong. While on the phone I explained my issue, noting that I expected this to be replaced because it cost me almost $7. I also informed him that my order is frequently messed up in some way. As someone who lives less than a mile away, I used to go everyday. I told him that I never complain when the smaller mistakes are made but if my whole sandwich is messed up, they need to do something.

The owner told me “if we fixed every mistake we made, we would go out of business.”

I rarely write bad reviews because I get everyone has a bad day however I cannot overlook this. I went to Tim Hortons on Ecorse Road and ordered a grilled cheese Panini and a small iced cap. The lady told me the total but the ice cap never showed up on the screen. So I pulled up to the front window. She gave me my iced cap. I gave her the card I asked is this a small? she said no she rang you up as a medium and I just looked at her waiting for her to say more but she never did. She didn’t offer me a small or say anything more about it so I was able to overlook the lack of customer service. I go around 5 in the morning before work to get a coffee and bagel or sometimes hash browns. Everytime the guy ask me what I want he doesn’t tell me a total so I just have to guess it when I get to the window. But that’s not even why I gave it one star. The lady working the window talks with an attitude most of the time and rushes you to leave. Most of the time they don’t toast your bagel long enough like I ask. So it taste like you’re eating straight dry bread. But today was the icing on the cake. I ordered my iced Capp and from the first sip I instantly gagged. I took a couple more sips and realized they used spoiled milk in it. I was so annoyed and I would’ve turned around to complain had I not had to go to work.
