Metro Commons Manufactured Home Community — Local services in Romulus

I have lived in this so called community for over two years. And i am almost at a loss for words at the deplorable conditions of this establishment. The main concern for anyone who would think of moving into this community is the fact that this management has no concern for this community other than squeezing every cent possible out of the tennants without any plans to repair or upgrade this community which is rapidly turning into a slum. The roads are full of considerable size potholes that were filled in with coarse gravel and some none at all which has lead to standing puddles of water in the streets. The street lighting is almost non-existent and some streets are completely void of any! which has lead to rampant thievery which the mangement has no plans of combatting. My grandfather lived in this park when it first opened over thirty years ago,and i from personal knowledge know that a majority of this park is built on swamp area that was not properly prepared for placing homes on. There is rampant flooding throughout,with sidewalks cracking and buckling and whole trailor pads shifting and sinking leading to major damage of the trailors placed upon them. Dont let the pool next to the office fool you,i have heard through the grapevine that it will not be re-opened due to damage that the mangement feels is not worth there effort or resources to make the simple repairs to. Which in a way is comforting due to the fact that last summer i refused to use the pool due to a lack of upkeep which i could only compare to as using someones used bathwater to swim in, which eventually lead to the pool turning into a green foul smelling cess pit! I am in the process of moving out of this community as quickly as possible and would recomend to anyone thinking of moving in to run away not walk away from this overpriced ill maintained place and do...

This is the worst community to live in. Do not move in. Not worth the $540 lot rent at all. I moved out almost 2 months ago and this company still has not returned my security deposit. I left there owing them nothing so no reason I should not have it returned. Now I have to take them to small claims court We brokered our home with the park and that means they get a cut of the sale to help you sell. Well that never happened. Never posted pics of my home, never gave me the for sale sign I was supposed to get. Never showed my home. I listed my home for sale one day and had it sold in a week. The greedy manager and company still took the $1,150 in commission stating that she worked for that money. Such a joke. We had to call animal control and the health department because the park was letting people feed the rats in the area and wondering why the community is infested. Tried to get the park to do something for months and they just kept saying I am reaching out to the regional manager and we never got an answer. Too many issues of people with infestations in the area and I know there was quite a few residents who let for this issue alone. The roads are terrible and the manager is clueless to what her job is. Place is a joke/scam to get you in…lived there for several months the first three months I dealt with my neighbor that would harass my family an I over a parking spot that management told me was mine management ..didn’t do nothing…after that I had the same neighbor banging on my door at 3AM over the parking spot management still didn’t want to do there job even though they told me they would take care of it got to the point I had to go get a no contact from Romulus an still had her in my yard every day harassing my family in the middle of all that told them problems that was wrong with my home (rent)told me they would get right on it and hire hole in the wall contractor to come fix it and they would leave the job half way done to were I had black mold in my child’s room … I tried for months to get it fix/cleaned properly instead they had another contractor come in to cover up the last guys work so at this point took it to upper management and the best they can do for me is to let me break my lease an let me move.. honestly the best part of being there was moving out… I wouldn’t recommend my worst enemy to this place…If I could it wouldn’t even get a star… just giving someone else the heads up I wish I would of had it before...
