On February 26,2017, I bought the Bella dining room table at Price Busters Discount Furniture in Forestville, MD for $500. We put the whole table together only to find out the the glass insert from the middle of the table doesn't fit. It was too big. I'm thinking, ALL SALES FINAL... What have I done? I call the Forestville store and they tell me to call customer service. This is where it all goes downhill. Over 100 PHONE CALLS, about 5 of which were actually answered, to customer service and FIVE trips to the WAREHOUSE, I have a piece of glass that fits my now jacked up table. Why is it jacked up? Because after attempting to replace only the glass twice, they told me to bring the table back to the warehouse to exchange it. The 'new' table was also damaged so they said I could just take the new glass and have my old PERFECT table back. Problem is while they had the table for all of five minutes, they scratched it up and ruined it by dragging it across the concrete. I didn't notice it until I got home. Now, they won't fix it because they say the new (BROKEN) table that I refused counted as an exchange. Except, you know, I went home with my original table. I wrote and VERY LONG, VERY DETAILED post on Facebook that I will share as many times as I can. Bottom line. Yelp needs to release the character limit so I can tell the full story.
This company has only one interest; and that is to take your money. If you are unfortunate enough to shop here, please do the following:
Note the name of ANYONE that you come in contact with. Expect them to be nice to you - this is a trick. Do not fall for it. You have been warned.
Read the ENTIRE carbon copy receipt BEFORE you sign ANYTHING. In fact, I would ask to see the agreement before hand because you only get the carbon copy once your card has been swiped.
When you go to the loading dock, be prepared to wait....... a very long time. and when your furniture comes out, open EVERY SINGLE BOX, make sure EVERY piece fits, I don't care if it's a screw.
Be prepared to call, literally, a MILLION times before anyone answers your phone calls. They will tell you that someone will call you back but they won't. They will tell you to send an email, but they won't return it.
DO NOT throw the box and wrapping away. If you have to bring something back to the warehouse, they will blame you for any damage because 'your item was not properly wrapped.' When you leave the loading dock, whatever happened to your item, will be YOUR FAULT.
Don't expect anyone to give a damn about you, you time, your efforts, your money....... Oh wait, that's the only thing they care about.
If you find yourself wandering into an outlet store called Pricebusters, turn around immediately and leave. Do not pass go, and forget collecting $200.... DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

UPDATE 4/23/2017: I received a call from a manager after posting my reviews. He was very nice and made an attempt to replace my table again. As the 2nd replacement table was also damaged, he just gave me my money back. The manager was great and I wish I would have been in contact with him sooner. The sales associate were so helpful and very polite. the experience I had while waiting to pick my furniture up, Is what I didn’t appreciate & is what will probably make me take a long time to return if I return. I arrived at the warehouse at 9:30 am & parked minding my business & waiting patiently being as though pick up hours are 10-1 . 15 minutes later a male pulled up parked & walked towards another male who appeared to be an associate. He then proceeded to walk back across the parking lot approaching my vehicle. I rolled the window down & he asks in a bold tone are you picking up a delivery or something. No Good Morning, No Hello , No nothing. Just Are you picking up & my response to him was Gm yes I am why? He then responds because I needed to know why you’re just sitting in MY parking lot. Now I’m pissed then he proceeds to say I’m black & you’re black & you know how black ppl are & that’s why I asked you . What?? What does being black has to do with anything??? I’m now furious & I asked what is your name Sir? He proudly say Rodney & I’m the Supervisor who collect the pick up tickets . I don’t care who you are & you just made the situation worse. You’re the Supervisor & this is how you approach customers. Over talking me the entire time , very impolite, & unprofessional. The warehouse associate who brought my furniture to me afterwards was very apologetic and polite. It’s sad the way he acted 1st thing in the morning. I hope no one else experiences his foolishness. Read moreWell first you buy your furniture from one store , in my case the golden ring location . Then they charge you a 10 fee on any and all purchases next you are told to drive to another spot to pick up your purchase . When you arrive at the next spot you wait forever until they call you and tell you what bay your in to receive your goods. When you pull to the specific bay guys are outside loading furniture in vehicles . I work in the automotive world so the next part shocked me the way the guys talked with my wife and children in the car was brutal . I get guy talk in the shop but we would never act or speak like that in the presence of customers. Finally the one good spot is the guy who loaded our purchase was AWESOME. He was very respectful and did an excellent jog tying the mattress to the roof of my SUV. Overall it was not worth the hoops and further more the bed frame that we bought was missing 2 feet .
