Savior Fare—specifically Lyndse—was truly the best vendor to work with for our wedding this past June. From our initial tasting, through the entire planning process, the change in plans due to COVID-19, and finally their food and service for our small wedding ceremony, SF was amazing.
First off, Savior Fare and Lyndse’s customer service is impeccable. When we initially reached out to get quotes and set up a tasting, Lyndse was polite, professional, and timely. Throughout the planning process she was so easy to work with in updating our menu, sorting out needed rentals, planning for additional guests and then subsequently planning for a significant drop in headcount.
When news of COVID-19 and it’s impact on our wedding and the entire events industry first started, we reached out to Lyndse and she immediately began working with us and the several iterations of how our wedding day would end up. We went from cancelling, to delaying it a year, to what we ultimately were able to arrange (a small family wedding ceremony with brunch after) and Lynde happily worked with each one of our changes and even held our one-year anniversary date for us so that we can have the reception of our dreams next year. She and the Savior Fare team was so flexible and easy to work with—it made planning and re-planning a wedding during a pandemic significantly less stressful.
While their customer service was terrific, Savior Fare’s food was phenomenal. We were completely blown away with the quality and freshness of the food at our initial tasting and had such a difficult time narrowing down what we wanted to serve at our wedding. When we changed plans to move from dinner service at our full wedding to a brunch, we ended up selecting spinach gruyere dip on pita round, mini cinnamon rolls with icing for hors d'oeuvres and then with a Caesar salad, Chicken & waffles with bourbon bacon butter & maple syrup as a main course. Everything was absolutely delicious and our family raved about how great everything tasted. We can’t wait to taste our originally planned menu at our one-year anniversary reception next year!
If you’re looking for catering services for your wedding or any other event, look no further than Savior Fare. They’re professional, flexible, courteous and most importantly they prepare and serve AMAZING food. Stop your search and reach out to them today—you will...
Read moreSavoir Fare was supposed to cater my wedding this year. Due to our most recent communications, I’m glad they didn’t.
As everyone knows, a wedding previously planned for this year has turned out to be stressful for many couples and families. Joan, the owner and executive chef, has been incredibly rude and unprofessional in her emails to my fiancé and my wedding planner regarding our scheduling deposit. This is unfortunate because Kaitlynn, who we worked with early on is absolutely wonderful.
From simply inquiring about how to make things work, Joan has replied aggressively. We get it, everyone is in a bind right now. Totally understandable. But saying things to your customers, like, “If there is a reason why that doesn’t make sense or you can’t understand that we don’t work for free AND there is a huge struggle through this new and unusual life we are leading then you let me know,” is absolutely unprofessional and condescending.
My big wedding has been canceled, as with many couples. Pleasant responses are always appreciated. More so, vendors who I did not use early in my planning, I’ve recommended to other brides simply because of their great customer service. I even saved their info for my own future events.
I am disappointed in how things turned out with Savior Fare and wished things ended on better terms. That being said, I will not be recommending...
Read moreEveryone talks about the food at a wedding, good or bad. With Savoir Fare, not only will your guests rave about the food, they will clean their plates! My now-husband and I did the SF tasting awhile back with Lyndse, who was so easy to work with and clearly very knowledgeable; she offered a lot of great advice. The food was fantastic, and it was an obvious decision to hire. Come the wedding, everyone in the wedding party agreed how amazing and helpful Lyndse was with Day-of Coordination; we would’ve been lost without her. Our guests all complimented the food and staff; we even caught some bartenders breaking down some dance moves behind the bar; it was perfect. Foodwise, we highly recommend the braised brisket and chicken cordon-bleu, and you can’t go wrong with mac & cheese! Lyndse and the SF team were so great to work with, we ended up hiring them to cater the backyard rehearsal dinner too. I would very much recommend Savoir Fare for your catering needs and Lyndse Wolford for wedding coordination....
