I frequently stop here to purchase meat since the local grocery stores never have anything, have never had any problems, however this past week purchase of meat was spoiled when I opened it the next day. It was on a Friday and I was sick so I didn't really feel like dealing with at that point and just put it in the trash, I knew I would be going by on Monday and would stop by then. I tried talking to the lady at the cash register and was cut off and told no for a refund or replacement right away because I didn't call right away to let them know nor did I bring the meat back to them, like really! So I went and talked to the head guy and told him the issue, he said for me to get something else and he would let the cashier know. Again once I got to the register she questioned the receipt, as I was trying to talk to her answering her questions she cut me off again and acted so rude towards me like I was trying to rip them off. I recently stopped by Twins Meat Market to pick up meat for a fundraiser and was just SO impressed! I had initially spoken to these kind folks by phone and found that they were just the nicest helpful people to deal with. They are a small Mom & Pops type local butcher shop, but when I say service is top-notch, I truly mean it! They have the freshest best looking meat counter I've seen anywhere! I feel bad for my 3 star rating, however, it has NOTHING to do with QUALITY. The food/meat is excellent and fair priced, and the store is very well kept. It's the staff my family and I have come across that are, well, lacking. Not a huge deal, but on 3 different occasions between my husband, his mother and myself--the cashier/clerk just acted like we were bothering her.
