Weâve been twice and waited almost an hour the first time. The first time we ordered a fish sandwich, hot dog, a fry, an onion ring, a tea and soda. During this time, one of the staff had time to go out for multiple smoke breaks. The tea had soured. It was sitting on the counter in a dirty gallon milk jug. The food was good, despite the delays due to every 10 minute smoke breaks, so we decided to try it again.
On todayâs visit, we ordered a fish sandwich, a cheeseburger and an onion ring. We decided against drinks this time bc I didnât want a repeat of sour tea.
When I paid, I was asked if I wanted to add a tip to my order. I declined, bc 1) they asked me for a tip 2) they hadnât even done anything besides take my order at that point, and 3) I was going to give their service/expediency a chance before giving them a cash tip.
A few minutes later a guy came in and ordered, and was asked about a tip. He said sure and when he was asked how much, she said thank you very much for his $5 tip. Then she looked at us and started talking loudly about some people not tipping. That guy had his food less than 5 minutes later and was out the door.
It once again took well over 30 minutes (probably closer to 45 mins) to be served our to go order. Again, the same staff member had multiple smoke breaks.
The food is good, but the service is horrible, it takes way too long, the server reeks of cigarette smoke, and the place is filthy looking. So, no, I did not end up giving a cash tip.
And heads up for anyone paying attention to the menu on google. Itâs 3 years out of date, so the prices are considerably more, but still decent compared to other places. Just if you think youâre gonna spend about $7 based on these menus, plan on $14.
If they cleaned it up, and maybe hired some better and quicker staff, it may be worth...
Read moreLetâs start by saying the order taker over the phone was very rude and rushing. Not only did they write my ticket wrong but I had enough faith in them (despite the girl at the window that Iâm desperately trying to not call a foul word because of her rudeness) but they also didnât look at the ticket. I asked for no tomato or onion and they gave both. When my boyfriend got to the window the âŚ.. asked âwhat do you wantâ. Really where did the customer service gođ letâs talk about it. Go work in a warehouse if you canât have customer service and clearly canât get a simple chef salad right. And lastly pictured w the review. I asked for a chef salad w no tomato or onion over phone and was given a toss salad w tomato and onion. btw everyone you can get a better salad and BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE at Walmart of all places. Lost about 6 weekly costumers here and I truly hope you lose more because of the order taker and the lady you hired to be at the register and window. If I couldâve given 0 stars, I swear I would.

Read moreCountry Kitchen has been around for a long time, some people will give it an excellent rating just because it's been a staple in Timberlake for many many years. I'm going to shoot it to you straight. The quality of food has gone down, frozen hash browns? Come on this is Country Kitchen I can buy frozen Hash Browns at Wall Mart. Fact is most things they are making now are just products you can buy yourself, their just heating it up. Though the main issue is the time it takes to get your food. Expect to wait at least 45 minutes no matter what you order or how many people are there. Some of the staff are really nice and sweet, others look like they want to punch you in the face. Used to be a great place to get a home cooked meal, it's not that...
