Quonset Hut — Local services in Rumney

We love this place!! We stay at Tripoli Rd or Russell's Pond all summer and we ONLY get our wood here. Its a 25 minute drive from our camp, but its kiln dried hard woods, so it lights up quick and burns for a long time! $12 bucks a big square. Don't buy your wood from those gas stations, they cost $6 bucks and it's all pine and will burn to fast. They also carry A LOT of odds and ends, gifts , blankets etc..etc..prices are good and people are friendly, they also have a sausage truck outside and there is always a line. Not only can you find unique and great finds here the owner is wonderful. If it's still under the same great ownership as it was in 1995. I lived next door and I was 6 months pregnant, shoveling about 6 feet of snow out of my driveway when the owner saw me he grabbed his Plow and he plowed me out. He didn't have to do that, but he did that because the kind person he is and I want to say thank you....

Just left there today with these for my garden. Besides flowers though, they have it all, new and used furniture, garden supplies, any kind of collection you would probably be looking for. Housewares, pet supplies, tools. You name it they have it. One stop shop....
