I was fortunate to visit Ripple Pottery and to meet artist & owner Brian O'Hare. I was invited to watch Brian at work creating new pieces to replenish the store's already beautifully made pieces that were in the store (I thought the store was well stocked). However, I was told that the selections were low due to the Autumn art shows that Brian brings his ceramics to in order to share his talents with fortunate customers. For the ski and Christmas Season Brian explained to me, a novice to potter, his process and the importance of technique while throwing on a wheel; reduction firing techniques - use of a brick kiln, and the use of brilliantly colored glazes used in his original decorative and functional pieces of art. Anyone fortunate to travel to the White Mountains of New Hampshire would add sparkle to their trip with a stop made at Ripple Pottery. You will leave with a true treasure from New Hampshire. Thank you, Brian! JM S, from San Antonio TX

I want to give this business 5 stars but, holy mackerel, it should not be this difficult to get a response from a business owner who relies on customers to purchase product. I mean I WANT to buy something and yet, the owner is unable to return just one call to provide an update in only a few minutes (or respond to the original email) to an order requested months ago. I am willing to be patient as he stated it should be by the end of the season when things die down. Been trying to get an update but it is near impossible (phones are hardly ever answered during posted business hours and messages go unreturned). Apparently, I need to move on and maybe find someone willing to replicate the design I purchased from this shop. I really did want thsi to work and post 5 stars. It is...

My wife and I stopped in at Ripple Pottery this afternoon. The sign out front advertised that the Potter was working today-and he was! We were warmly welcomed and really enjoyed looking through the gallery of absolutely amazing pieces. His prices were reasonable amd my wife was excited to get the chance to own a couple of his creations. We were invited into the workshop/studio and were amazed to watch a large vase come to life before our eyes in about 1 minute start to finish. Truly an artist and generous with his time and talents. Stop and...
