Had a Boston cream pie for breakfast and friend had a 3 eggs and side. Coffee is NOT included with your meal. (When a waitress offers a coffee before you even had a look at the menu, to look at the price, or to see if it's included with anything on the menu or not, I assume it's included with the price of your plate). (Again, different country, different customs.) Maybe I wanted a smoothie, or just a glass of water, I'm not here to tell you how to do your job. But where I am from, it's customary to bring a glass of water, to allow the customer to drink something before actually choosing something from the menu. ... My friends' eggs were overcooked, he had asked for slightly over-easy with a runny yolk. It was barely runny at all. But, the Bacon was pretty good. My pancakes were OK. Not the best, not the worst. But I really expected berries to come included with the Pancakes or the French toast breakfasts, not as an extra, and not cantaloup and pineapple. Just plain Pancakes or French toast is pretty bland. You need berries with those. Cantaloupe and Pineapple a weird choice of fruit selection you offer. But hey, I was willing to try it. Maybe I'm just a "Mr.Fancy Pants" and should have stuck with ordering a regular "Eggs and Side" breakfast. Side note, the staff was welcoming and nice. The food was probably perfect for someone who's going on a hike and just wants an intake of eggs and side with a black coffee.

Good first: Nice large parking lot 😀 Handicap friendly 😀 Very clean😀 Ample bar, booth, table seating😁 Bad: Had chicken fried steak and eggs☹️ with fruit cup☹️ First wanted raisin toast , they were out (only 8:30am) so got wheat, was very plain I assume some store brand. Eggs ☹️, very overcooked, had to cut with knife Bacon 😁 was thick and tasty Chicken fried steak☹️ over cooked, breading was lacking flavor and sauce leaves much to be desired, two bites is all I could muster Coffee ☹️ bitter and served in small mug never re-filled. Was there around 45 min and was never offered a warmer or asked how food was☹️ Server pretty much acted like I wasn’t there☹️, after waiting for a bill for about 20min another waitress took my card and cashed me out ☹️☹️ Fruit cup☹️ just pineapple and cantaloupe and not very fresh. Service☹️☹️seemed like a lot of “newbies” that didn’t have much experience, running around like place was packed and only was about 1/2 full! Will go again ( can’t be much worse)and will try something else but seeing the amount of quality breakfast places in area definitely wouldn’t recommend ☹️☹️☹️☹️

We were in the area all the way from Connecticut and let me tell you the food here is DELICIOUS! Everything is fresh and flavorful. I ordered the “Irish Benedict’s” and it was sooooo good they use real corned beef! My husband ordered biscuits and gravy and the gravy was also very delicious the gravy was smooth and full of flavor. On top of the great food, we had great service. We went two days in a row for breakfast and both times the waitresses were extremely friendly. We even asked for suggestions on places to visit and the waitress was kind enough to give us a few places to go to. Overall, we had a great experience at the north station. If we are ever back in the area, we will visit again!

My wife and I have been going here for decades, back when it was ‘Plain Janes’ to present. Food is good, waitstaff is pleasant. Why only 2 stars? Well, after being seated and receiving coffee promptly, we waited 30 minutes for a single chocolate chip pancake and an egg breakfast special. (It was not busy, we were long before the normal Sunday rush). Several parties seated after us were served before us. Did the waitress forget to put our order in? Possibly, mistakes happen, and we would be ok with that. It was when we asked if it would be much longer and were told there was 7 tickets before ours…that was just not true and a bit insulting. Our food was served w/in 5 minutes after asking, so they really knocked out those 7 tickets eh? Topping our visit off was the $30 tab for 2 simple breakfasts. No Bloody Mary’s, no Mimosas, just one coffee, one juice and a refill on a chocolate milk due to the wait. Another ten full minutes passed while we waited on the bill to arrive and be processed. Yikes! Appreciate the owner’s reply, but to clarify, we arrived a few minutes before 8am. We didn’t get to leave until 9:20 due to the aforementioned delays. It was definitely not busy in the dining car or the back room when we arrived and were seated. A single chocolate chip pancake was ordered, not “added”. The real maple syrup was maybe the size of a shot glass if I’m being generous. An up charge for two slices of white toast with two...
