Wendy is the representative we dealt with prior to the rental. Two days prior to driving in wendy stated and assured place would be cleaned.. as she had 24 rentals that were doing a turnaround on that sunday for family vacations.. not only did we drive into an area that had a water leak busted pipes supposedly all of concan had no water. We continuously called to ask questions and of course no response .when Monday came the couple working on the dug up busted pipes said the two units Los Agaves and Lo Generales had been having water leaks for a while so water had been shut on/off past few days. We had no water to flush toilets nor to wash kids up.No Water for preparing Dinner. Again calling and calling Wendy's office we get no answer. This not only had us drive to leaky to by water but put our enjoyment at the River behind a set schedule . Come Wednesday we had no water again this was our last day and I was told again they would respond to our concerns and that never happened. We even reached out to our neighbors whom said they had a terrible experience and would never ever deal with company again. On my drive back home wendy decides to call and state she was was very aware of water issues yet Wendy failed to at least out of courtesy let us know what we might be facing..NO WATER FOR A LONG TIME. Frio River Resorts no customer service at all. No consideration except to blame the city for their failure to provide a necessity I can guarantee the family that experienced that for the first time will never go back and we will never utilize the FrioRiverResort company either.. never during this time did they offer some sort of better arrangements but no courtesy to ensure they could make this vacation Experience right ..poorly managed poor communication If ya dont mind Wasting money sure the layout is convenient and close to water But I can Guarantee there are other places in the area with better judgment and better care... FYI No functioning bluetooth for radio inside and the wifi was horrible Grandparents found food stashed in couches as Wendy stated ...
   Read moreThe refrigerator- As you mention in previous emails it doesn’t cool as expected however we lost food because it NEVER cooled! Milk, lunch meat and lots more were spoiled. I called and left a message and no one returned my call.
Ceiling fan- Didn’t work at all in the living room.
Wrong Key- Upon us arriving we had to wait because someone placed the wrong house key under the mat. So we weren’t even granted access at the regular time of 4pm because of this error.
Cable/Internet - The Internet never worked so we could watch any movies and we had a movie night planned with the kids. The gentleman that did come by tried to reset it but nothing worked.
Dishwasher - we used the dishwasher to clean any dishes used and unfortunately it spilled lots of water and soap out which required us mopping it all up. We used the pod you all provided.
Pool- The pool was dirty with dead bugs as if it wasn’t cleaned prior to our arrival. We had to clean it with the net because there were so many laying on top of the pool and under the water.
Overall we did not have a great experience due to the inconveniences. What we paid for the couple of nights should have been a better experience. Because of the fridge issue we had to purchase more food and more ice and lost out on what we had planned to eat for the upcoming days.
