I love this shop. I always wanted to go back whenever I could, especially at the old location. It's always a welcoming environment. There are a few changes that were made that I'm not the biggest fan of though. The prices were raised on product, and now it feels as if it's just them trying to make more money instead of making a little profit while being amazingly affordable like it used to be. I get the market influences that stuff, but I miss how it was. Also, the staff is amazing! They're always super kind and welcoming to me. Don’t waste your time coming here! Honestly, the worst customer experience of any card shop in Sacramento. Walked in, and was completely ignored by the first person as he was too “busy” sorting cards. The guy never even looked up. I was finally greeted by a 2nd employee, but that was it. No “How can I help you? Is there anything you are looking for?” Nothing.

I was left walking back and forth in front of all of them, standing at the counters, starring at the products, as if I didn’t even exist.

There was a total of 5 people working, with only a single customer there. The rest were all too busy sorting cards, on their phones, and/or on the computer. It was an amazing first...

I have two kids (ages 5 and 7), and they have no idea how to play Pokemon, but they love collecting Pokemon cards. I don’t play any card games myself, but this place is an absolute gem - every single staff member is so kind, patient and sweet to the kids. They have a TON of Pokemon card packs (including Japanese ones) and a couple of binders of cheap single cards, which is perfect for us.
