Visited all 3 Dutchway locations. The Dutchway Ace Hardware, where Andy helped me a few minutes before closing, with no rushing. Always helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Then off to the Market for a few items. I was able to bypass their Bakery, full of delectable homemade treats, even their pie sale! Hands down the best fresh Produce & Meat Dept locally! Next their Deli, with a large selection of cheeses, deli meats and speciality salads. Awesome weekly sales. Lastly their "Ready to Serve" area filled with Soups, Salads, Meals, Sides, and Desserts to take care of Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner on the Go! They have both types of Pot Pie in multiple flavors, the noodle and crust versions. I recommend the flakey crusted Turkey PotPie. Final stop, the Restaurant. Although the Buffet is not available due to the current "situation" there is a menu offered and daily specials. Everything is delicious although a few favorites are missing, no chili, pork n sauerkraut and omelets after breakfast. The Cafe is open too for snacks, ice cream, hot pretzels, take out or a quick meal. Daily Specials too! Both eateries are following safety guidelines with spaced seating, spaced checkout, masks and sanitation procedures. MAKE SURE OF WHAT YOUR BUYING! 3 visits in a row I have gone to the bakery and found that they are mixing up the flavors and dont have the right donuts in the right spot! I bought 2 straw donuts for my neighbor and found they were raspberry WHICH SHE IS ALLERGIC TO!!!! Next visit SAME THING and didnt buy! But today I wanted a couple straw donuts and when i looked they were JUST CREAM! Do you know how disappointed i would have been if i took them home and why do i have to squeeze it a little to find out??? Then i bought 2 italian hoagies and 1 american and got home and found EXACT SAME MEAT ON ALL 3! My Dad is 81 and cant eat spicy so I got him a american . He couldnt eat it and went hungry bc he wanted an american. It is so hard to get older people to eat so I try hard to get him what he likes and wasted my money! Since we have been in this pandemic,this location is allowing ppl coming in without a mask. Today i came by grab some groceries & as soon I walked in there was a customer walked in without a mask like it was 1980!Staff just started talking to customer like there was nothing wrong with it,not even asking to wear a mask.On my way out to the register saw another 2 customers without masks.These r the same ppl that come to my job,exposing me and everyone else that r taking safety measures for 1 yr already.Meanwhile we have selfish customers & business allowing this BS!
