I am Pauline Mora but using my husbandâs email as I donât use gmail. I ordered on Grohmans website on 11/19/2020 for a funeral 11/23/2020. I paid $145.94 for a funeral basket (the 1-800-FLOWERS Heartfelt Sympathies standing basket) in MEDIUM that should be 34â H by 32â L. The photo I got at 8:12 am 11/23/2020 had THREE white roses and lots of cheap filler flowers, mainly carnations and daisys. I mentioned it in a reply and was told no it had 5 roses and it had to leave the shop right then IF I wanted to go ahead with it. Like I would say no with the funeral starting in less than 3 hours? Who uses FIVE? Itâs not even a half dozen? If they did or couldnât get more white flowers in time for the order, they had 4 DAYS to let me know. The order was confirmed via phone call to me on 11/19/2020. I have never had a problem with Grohmans over the years till now. This basket was sad and EMBARRASSING! More GREEN with cheap palm fronds sticking out everywhere. The supposed bow looked like a drunk made it! Very sparse flowers, not symmetrical at all. It had 8 Lilly buds, with only 2 partially opened. After watching mass on FB, I called to express my utter disappointment. All I received was a woman arguing with me that she ran out to the van before it left and it had 5 roses in it. For $145?? I am by no way cheap but I think the person who made this basket has no idea how to arrange flowers in a way as to not have it look sparse. Perhaps itâs my fault for not asking how many roses would be in it and lilyâs. I wonât make this mistake again. Can you believe she told me if I was unhappy she could GO GET THE BASKET??? I replied -From the Cementary??? Are you kidding me? Who speaks to repeat customers like that? Especially those in MOURNING!!! Absolutely disgusting treatment of a paying customer. I wish I could post the pictures for the public to see before ordering from Grohmans. Complete FAIL! Look at the basket on 800-FLOWERS. IT IS NOT WHAT I GOT AT ALL.

   Read moreThis florist was used by 1800Flowers.com for a birthday delivery for my mother and boy did they drop the ball. The arrangement arrived 1/3 of the size it should have been. There was additional greenery used that was not a part of the original arrangement, Iâm guessing to make it appear larger. Even the representative that called to confirm the delivery was short and dismissive as if I was inconveniencing her. Being thousands of miles from your parents is tough enough and all I wanted to do was show my Mom I was thinking of her, thanks for ruining that.
