Milkhouse Candle Co. — Local services in Saint Ansgar

This review is LONG overdue; I purchased some of their candles through both their website and through local (approved) vendors in my area.

The throw of these candles is better than a pure beeswax candle, which is helpful if I'm trying to fill a room with a specific fragrance.

I can say the return policy through the website is a bit of a challenge, because I don't like the idea of having to pay so much to return unused candles when I wasn't a fan of the dry scent...I ended up just gifting them instead.

I'm also not a huge fan of the milk bottle container, as I've had issues lighting it as directed (with spaghetti), and it gets more challenging to light as the candle burns down. I usually have to give up with about 1/3 left.

I was a long time gold canyon candle customer. Gold canyon is no longer in business. Since they went out of business I have been on the market looking for a comparable candle. I have been pretty disappointed in most candle brands out there. I found milkhouse candles in a store called the shine in Rockford Illinois. I bought woodland and balsam and cedar. These candles don’t compare to gold canyon they are better than gold canyon. Since then I have purchased 3 more candles from milkhouse. Being a bachelor and outdoorsman I love outdoor, woodsy, and musky smells. Hopefully milkhouse comes out with more manly smells in the future. Very happy with what I’ve purchased so far.
