St Anastasia Catholic Church — Local services in Saint Augustine

My name is Bohdan, and I am writing to you on behalf of my family, which consists of my wife, our two sons aged eight and four, and myself. We are Ukrainian citizens currently residing in Poland due to the ongoing crisis in our homeland. I work as a driver-trainer, teaching drivers of a transport company to drive safely and economically, and my wife is a medical worker who is also studying to become a cosmetologist. Our children attend school and kindergarten.

We are reaching out to you with a request to consider becoming our sponsor under the Uniting for Ukraine program. We are not seeking financial support but need assistance for a safe relocation and adaptation in the United States, where we intend to continue working and raising our children in a secure environment.

Our younger son has minor health issues, and we believe he will receive better medical care in the USA. Additionally, recent events in Poland, where Ukrainians have faced discrimination, have created an untenable living situation for us. We cannot return to Ukraine due to the war, as it poses a danger to our children's lives.
