Kristen Garrett did a wonderful job of handling our funeral arrangements for my husband. She went above and beyond in assisting my family in all aspects of planning and preparing the Celebration of Life Visitation and Service. She was very focused on making sure all our wishes were met...especially in obtaining an emergency copy of my husband's DD214 discharge paper which I had lost. Marine Corp needed it to provide Military Honors at the gravesite. Unfortunately, it couldn't reach us in time but Kristen offered to have Marine Corp. come at a later date to do a small graveside service in his honor. Kristen's gentle and friendly manner in handling our difficult time was greatly appreciated by my family and we want to deeply thank her for the special care she gave us. I was in awe of what this group of people at Stark’s Funeral Home does for families when a one loved dies. Everyone I encountered by phone or in person were genuinely caring and concerned. No one rushed us in any way. I’m sorry I don’t know the receptionist’s name but she was fantastic. I asked for Jason to help me prior to my mom’s passing. Jason was a my student many years ago and I knew he was an exceptional human. Anyway, Jason met me at the hospital which was very nice. He walked me through the processes to come. He got the ball rolling. He then had to be gone for a few days with his son so he turned me over to Hannah. Hannah was just as kind, caring and thoughtful. She walked us through and had great compassion. The whole experience was made the best it could be because of these people. Thank you for all you do every day...

There is not enough space to write about how wonderful our experience with Tom, Olivia, and the rest of the Starks Family Funeral Home staff was during my father's death in October 2023 and my mother's death in February 2024. Both had pre-planned arrangements, which made everything easier for us. Olivia was easy to reach via email and phone with any questions or concerns we had. She took our parents life highlights and transformed them into meaningful obituaries. Starks Family Funeral Home accommodated some last minute additions and changes with ease.
