Dollar General — Local services in Saint Joseph

Two months ago if asked about the Dollar general that I went in, I would have said I hated it!! I would have said the employees were very rude, lazy and store was cluttered ! Their delivery items that were brought in for the week for them to put on the shelves for customers to be able to purchase was in the aisles. I had to walk around them, you could hardly get through, it was a fire hazard in my opinion. However, I stopped in there yesterday, and I had to compliment them over and over again because they really cleaned up the store ! Everything's put away& there's no longer those big carts full of items out in the middle of the isles. It's just a much MUCH cleaner store now, Oh, and then they seem to have hired nicer less rude&...

I will say the do need more help the girls that are there are over worked and underpaid and I understand now why the store is the way it is the have had great employees who have left because of the workload and pay also becareful when buying anyrhing in a box or has a hole cockroaches can crawl through I had got a case if Pepsi and the lady told me not to take it inside just in case I mean a employees warning me about roaches I'm glad she did but still..the floors look bad but the hardly have time to do much at all espcaily if it a truck day the have a couple extra people but still it's shame...

Dollar General is Dollar General crowded Isles frazzled staff. They were friendly though. Also there credit machine is having some issues and it seems like it's been that way for a very very long time and it did grown used to this issue and have no plans to fix it. Deferred maintenance as a certain flavor in a negative way to any business. I wouldn't hesitate to go here instead of having to drive all the way into St Joseph to...
