The Dog Wash — Local services in Saint Joseph

I am now a repeat customer!! This is a SELF SERVE service-meaning they do NOT groom your dogs for you! (per other review claimed they groomed the dog and messed it up-not the fact) They provide just about everything you need to get your dog all washed up! If you have a preference on shampoo, you can bring your own. I have never had a long wait. They do have a ramp if you have a bigger dog. I cannot think of one negative thing to say! The owners are amazing wonderful friendly people!! I truly am grateful this place exists because I do not want to take my dogs to a groomer. This place has very affordable pricing for all size dogs. A thoroughly filthy stray showed up at our house this morning and was still hanging around when my wife got home from work. She took him straight to the dog wash so that she could take him to the vet to get scanned for a chip since he had no tags. The owner, Mary, took wonderful care of my wife and the dog, helping my wife to shampoo the dog three times and to cut some dingleberries out of his fur. Went to the dog wash for the first time, I called ahead and explained to Mary my dog is animal reactive, Mary and I came up with a plan to get my baby in and out with out a single issue. Mary is wonderful, so friendly, easy to talk to and you can tell she truly loves dogs.
