I love this place! It's a fun attraction and there's so much to enjoy! I've been going for 10 years now and I make sure to pick up a pie every time!

BUT WATCH OUT FOR CREDIT CARD SKIMMING!!!!!!!!!

This store is a hot spot for skimming credit cards and smart watches.

It's close to a highway, extremely packed during travel season, and the isles are very narrow! Very convenient for anybody trying to scan a credit card through wallets, purses, and smart watches.

Also, It's a CASH ONLY store and they have a lot of ATM's that could contain skimmers or take your credit/debit card information!

In one of my recent visits, someone tried to skim my Fitbit's contactless payment feature (which I don't use) - most likely by hovering their phone over it. Some phones allow you to pay with the phone's built-in NFC reader, so all they need is a phone to scan your smart watch. Keep an eye out for people walking around with phones in their hands at pocket-level.

I've been hit with two fraudulent charges on my debit card which most likely came from this location.

I have an anti-NFC/EMV reader card in my wallet to prevent skimming so it's possible my card was skimmed at an ATM at this location.

-I've only used my Debit card twice this year, once at a trusted bank's ATM which has a camera and other security features to prevent skimmer installations and it's owned by the credit union itself. The other time was at this candy store's ATM which could be owned by a 3rd party (someone else other than the store)

-I hardly use my Debit card which is where the charge was posted, listed as "AMAZON MARKETPLACE" even though the card is not attached to my Amazon account.

If your card was skimmed, call your credit card's 24hr fraud department, dispute the charges, get a new card.

That's my warning! Keep an eye out for strangers, watch their hands, and avoid the ATM'S if possible. If you must use the ATM's, keep an eye on your credit card statements for purchases you did not make!
