This year was my first year at Saint Leo, and it was the best thing ever! I came to Saint Leo, from The Bahamas, and I was afraid of the adjustment and the major cultural differences. However, upon arrival to Saint Leo, everyone was so welcoming, the campus was beautiful and it just felt like home from Day 1! You're not just another number at the school, you're professors and advisors really do know you by name, and they care about you and your progress. There's always something going on on Campus so you're really never bored, and everyone is so friendly, so you'll always have a friend around. I'm super excited for my sophomore year! Saint Leo has been one of the best choices I've made!

This school looks nice and cozy. It appears that there wouldn't be as many distractions as some schools, but you could still receive an education. The school seems very well kept! I would go here, and I am going to recommend to this a family member.

saint leo university has no dedication or care for their students and their financial struggles, im going to try my best to keep names out of it but saint leo university has constantly put off the financial needs of this one student in particular who goes to the financial aid department every single day for 2 months requesting information yet they come back with the same excuse, "they don't know" or "that's above them". It seems like nobody knows how to do there job at all and constantly pushes the emotions of students to the side. this one student is on his last limb and has requested refund check information from Saint Leo for the past 2 months but they have no answer what so ever, yet when they have an answer apparently this student now owes $7,000 to the school when his success coach and academic advisor specifically told him that his scholarships and grants he received during his freshman year would still be continued for his sophomore year and he wouldn't owe a dime to the university yet things came up in this students life where it's almost a sink or swim situation and has expressed to the department that HE NEEDS A REFUND CHECK AFTER HE APPLIED FOR FINANCIAL AID YET THE SCHOOL HAS COME BACK WITH DIFFERENT INFORMATION REGARDING TO HIM OWING MONEY. why is this taking so long? why doesn't saint Leo have an answer? they need to fire there financial aid department or the dean needs to step up to the plate and give this students some grace and the correct answer because this student has been lied to by the university and may possibly be homeless soon if they can't figure this out soon...money is nothing to play with now a days but it seems like saint Leo doesn't care or they like to prioritize other parts of the college then other stuff idk but they gotta get it together because this student has also expressed to me that they can't go on any longer if this keeps happening, not at saint Leo but in life. This has taken such a strong toll on this students mental health to the point they don't even want to get out of bed some days. SAINT LEO GET IT TOGETHER ASAP AND HELP YOUR STUDENTS, HELP THE ONES STRUGGLING, YOU HAVE ALL THE RESOURCES IN THE WORLD TO GIVE EACH STUDENT A CHANCE BUT U CHOSE...

Volleyball Coach Abby Moser-Keim and her husband and brother are monopolizing this school. She just got hired this February and recruited three girls but claims she didn’t have a say and was “stuck” with the girls from other coach. Funny thing is she had time, she had lots of time, many girls don’t get recruited till August. We had 2-3 on our team that weren’t signed and that is 1 team out of 1500 teams in USA that she could choose from. She’s just wants a “out” on why they loss this season. But the funny thing is the she played her 1 out of 3 recruits non stop and she was horrible “shanking balls non stop” and at one point she put all OH in front of her on serve recieve( hide her in back corner) when “her position” is suppose to be the best serve recieve player on the court the “Libero!” But guess who this one player/transfer/new recruit was, her little sister and she never told anyone this was her sister. She hid it from her players knowing it was wrong but she and the AD should know this would cause issues and attention. She is rude, crude, immature. She can’t coach cause she hasn’t in 5+ years. Last time she coached she was an “assistant” and wow has the game of volleyball changed and she has no clue and it shows as she sits there and has her “assistant” coaching. The girls have regressed from the beginning of the year. This proves she hasn’t coached or developed the girls. She instead wants to blame the other coach for the loss this year? Really you could of been honest from the start and tell everyone about your sister, your plans for the team, and give the new recruits or old, especially all those who “play your sisters position” a chance to find a new home. This would of opened your rooster, budget, and not cause a bad moral Amongst the team, parents, program etc. it just shows her immaturity and not fit for this position...

I've just started attending here and I'm loving it. Such a great community and everyone is so friendly everywhere you go. I've only been going 4 weeks now and I seem to find someone I can call a friend everywhere I go on campus. The scenery surrounding the campus is absolutely gorgeous as well and as a native of Pasco County I honestly had no idea that a landscape like this was so local until I started attending. I love the slow paced, country living out here and the experience I get being able to learn about the different cultures represented here. I've met Southern people, Northern people, Hispanic people, Caribbean people, European people, Middle Eastern people, and so many other cultures too. It's beautiful to see how understanding and forgiving everyone is of people of different cultures. While it does have some flaws, like losing power pretty often or the sometimes mediocre food in the cafeteria, they are so minor compared to all the great things this school offers. It is easy to get scholarships too. 11 out of 10 I would recommend attending this school. I also would recommend the Honors Program. In addition to getting a huge upgrade on your dorm (your own bedroom and a shared living room!), it's pretty easy to get into, and the classes are so engaging and fun and honestly pretty easy if you like conversation. Shout out to Professor Orlando! I know that there were issues in the past with the school but I have been going under the new President and new leadership and when I see the old reviews saying how terrible the experience was for those people, I cannot believe it. (Also, the food really isn't that bad. I mean, it's college cafeteria food, you can't expect a 5-star gourmet restaurant.) Overall, I'm so glad to be here and this is definitely worth the work to get into the school and get scholarships. Definitely...
