Very disappointed. I called ahead on 3/8, a week before the One Piece OP06 release, to check if they were getting stock. The owner answered and explained he ordered 2 cases, but was unsure if he would get all or even any. I asked about price if he was to get any in, and he said "IF I get any in I'll sell them at MSRP." I said awesome, is there any way for me to check on stock for sure before I head up there on release day, and he told me to call around 10AM, an hour before the store opens, on release day to check on stock. I called a few different times between 10AM and 11AM today (3/15, release day) with no answers, so I went ahead and went up to the store. When I got there I asked if he ended up getting any stock, and he said he got one case of the 2 so he was limiting one box per person. I said fair, and to ring one up for me. After he scanned the box, the price rang up as $220 before tax, just over $230 after tax. MSRP was supposed to be $97. I mentioned that he said over the phone a week before that he would sell at MSRP if he got any stock in. He then changed it to he said "he would TRY to sell it at MSRP". That is not what he said on the phone. I was informed it would be sold at MSRP if any stock came in, and he gave the reasoning that he's not there to scalp or to make a giant profit, he just wants to enjoy the hobby and help out others with their hobbies as well. I left without purchasing a box as he did not honor what he said over the phone. Well, a little later down the line I heard from some other customers that walked in after me that the price had apparently been $189 before tax, and not the $220 that I was given. Why was the first customer through the door told a much higher price then customers after? A coworker of mine also informed me that this same owner did something very similar to him for OP05, only it was for packs instead of a full box. Same situation, he called ahead and was told MSRP only to find he was being charged more than double when he went to purchase. Very shady to me. I will not be going to this location for any play, events, or business of any sort after this experience (which was also my first time in...

What happens when you give someone that truly has a passion for an industry a chance to grow and thrive in that industry? Well here is a great place to find out. Jason has been involved in the comic and card game for as long as I can remember. He's been deliberate in creating a store that has a welcoming atmosphere and that focuses on it's customers interests.
I've already ran 2 commander nights in the store and intend to continue to do so. For when you want your local game store to care about you as much as a customer as you do for their products, this is the...
Read moreTruly one of my favorite stores I’ve been to. The staff here make me feel at home. I had the privilege of meeting them years ago at another store, and I’ve always enjoyed conversing about a wide range of topics with them. If you want to know about something in the store, talk to the people that work there, they’ll know how to help. This store is a friendly and safe place for people to come visit and enjoy their hobbies. I’ll keep this brief because I could sing the praises of this establishment in lengthy detail, but people don’t usually like overly...
