This preserve is a nice and well maintained preserve. However, during our visit, a young person had a dog without a leash; the dog was very aggressive but the owner refused to put the dog in a leash. The owner became angry and tried to blame the dog's aggressive behavior on us. She left the preserve after complaining that we didn't know how to talk to her dog. Besides this owner's obvious disregard for the safety of other visitors, the preserve has a nice 1.4 mile hiking trail which should be easy to navigate for most people. The preserve is quiet and not crowded at all. During our visit, after the young person and her dog left, we were the only ones in the trail. Bring water and mosquito repellant as well...
