The Centerplex is set up for a beautiful practice / training facility with minimal spectator seating. Unfortunately, they host large tournaments in it (i.e. 16 volleyball teams at a time) and cram all the teams and spectators inside it. The spectators, all wedged onto one end, are close enough to trip the volleyball players who are trying to serve (happened several times), and get to enjoy hundreds and hundreds of volleyballs rocketed into the crowds daily during warmups and game play. Every single person that sat in my area was hit multiple times by a volleyball during each day of competition; my 68 year old mother finally sat out in the lobby after getting hit for the 4th time, 3 of the 4 times she was hit she was trying to block a ball that was coming at her during warmups and got hit with a second one . No other facility I have ever been to that hosts tournaments of this size has the limited amount of spectator accommodation Centerplex provides, nor has the ridiculous proximity of spectators to players. The only thing missing is putting the spectators directly on the court; if they expand past 16 teams the organizers might see this an an option. If I lived in the community, I would join in a heartbeat. But it's not set up for hosting large events, and should not be doing so., Our club...

We are first time year-long members of this facility with a family membership, and they are the most non child-friendly space I have ever been to. I try to take my children who are paid members to play basketball, use the track, etc and the staff have been extremely rude every time we are there. I just went for a Saturday workout with the kids and on our way out the door my daughter was walking and bounced her basketball twice as we were about to walk out the door and a staff member ran over to stop us and said she is not allowed to bounce her basketball in our lobby. As we were going out the door. We can’t have one visit where a staff member doesn’t go out of their way to be stuck up and say something to them. If you open your facility to kids, you need to be welcoming to them. They are members too. Very high cost for a year family membership and they are extremely strict, trying to correct someone all the time. Can’t even enjoy it. Also for the cost they are open very limited hours especially on weekends, and the pool and basketball courts always get cut down to limited availability as they use them for other things....

amazing facility, amazing staff, weird business practices, price of membership has been raised a few times the last few months as if it wasnt already costly enough. originally 50/55 USD now up to 58 a month for seemingly no changes and less hours. ( 3pm on weekends??? ) 6PM on friday of all days? they had hours set to 9pm when it was colder, now its super nice hours are getting pinched..

my personal time management could be better but i swore off this place after they raised to $57, after that they raised again so im probably not going to be back for some time!

a gym only membership would be great as im paying for an entire facility when i will never have the time to use anything but the gym with these hours lol pools always seem pretty full at the times i can come in.

i will have to find another gym that will be accomodating enough for me to go later in the day and still get a full workout in, the cost of membership compared to actual usable hours is not...
