We have been without a working oven in our stove probably for5 years. Called many repair people and they refused to work on Dacor. My husband wanted to look to see what was wrong, but no one would come look! The same answer “we can not get the parts”. So we rocked along with our wall oven. A wonderful lady in my church told me about The Appliance Guys. They came determined it was the “board”. The sent us to the Circuit Board Medics. The Medics agreed to take a look. The Guys removed the board and off to Greenville goes the board. The medics determined nothing was wrong with the board. The Guys came to put the board back in and literally dismantled our stove found a reset button which made the broiler work, but not the oven. The determination proved to be the oven igniter! The 1st time we had a problem with our KitchenAid oven, it needed a thermostat which they ordered and came back to replace, and worked fine. The 2nd time we again had problems with the oven, but this time it was the computer board and we opted not to repair it. The 3rd time there was a perceived problem with our clothes drier by our housekeeping service. It turned out to be nothing serious and the repairman helped educate the housekeeping service on its proper use. The 4th time, the evaporator on our ice making machine leaked out refrigerant and we have opted to have them make the repair because of the high cost of replacing the unit. Read moreWorst experience ever. New Uline ice machine had a bad solenoid. The first guy came to repair had no clue what he was doing and stayed on phone the entire time. He was frustrated because he didn’t know what he was doing. He finally got it to work…which it did for about a week. Broke again. The “owner” was to be at my house for a schedule appointment to fix again. Called instead and was annoyed about how the ticket was written for him by customer service. I suggested he just come out to see the issue and he overtalked me, was rude and finally decided he wasn’t coming at all. He could not understand that I (via warranty) paid for it to work and couldn’t explain to his satisfaction why it wasn’t working. Actually called me a “Karen” and hung up on me.
