Country Gift & Thrift Shoppe — Local services in Salisbury Township

I absolutely love coming to Country Gift and Thrift! This store has an amazing selection of second hand items. I always walk in for one item and walk out with ten 😬😁😆. They have a large selection of womens clothing, accessories, household, kitchen, sewing notions/crafts, and seasonal items and a wonderful book selection. The store is neat, superbly clean and well organized and it is well lit with room to navigate with a shopping cart. The items and clothing look, smell and feel clean (Other thrift stores often can have a weird stinky odor and my hands feel dirty after being there) Love it! Items are so very neatly and nicely displayed, it is very appealing to the eye/items catch eye because of this. The store is laid out very organized and clean. My only issue is the pricing. Items are way to overpriced in my opinion. I would have purchased much more had the prices been marked accordingly. I used to own a Consignment shop and I priced things to sell. The more you sell the more you make and can continue to put out inventory. I believe everything there is donated so you shouldn't see how much you can make but try to sell 25% of what it retail s for. I saw several items new with tags selling for as much as it was ticketed for. Most stores offer sale prices off the ticketed items so it was probably less then the ticketed price on it anyways. This is by far one of my favorite thrift stores that I've ever shopped at. The clothing they get can tend to skew older or dated, but I've found trendy things for all walks of life here. I've never seen the normal wear and tear of second hand items here. No worn out, stretched, stained, or pilled clothing here! They get a very eclectic mix of items here as well. Brand name never worn designers, vintage brands, mall brands, etc.. I try to make a habit of stopping here whenever I am up traversing Lancaster County, you'll never know what awaits you.
